Own both. You can't go wrong here. JM is definitely the more "challenging" of the two, and therefore feels more rewarding when you do well. JM can be beyond fast when set up accordingly.
On the other hand I think I have more "fun" playing DM. Simple game with a lot of multiball action, but the ramps and combos are satisfying shots. Pick your poison.
