dang, the only jjp potc i played was at tpf and the disc wasnt working. so i guess ill never get to experience it 
(but sounds like it needed to be changed)

Anyhow...the disc still looks like a pizza to me. I was a "probably" on buying this game but am now going to wait for American Pinball's next offering. And someone mentioned earlier that their trunk on Houdini was working at 90%. Mine is working at 100%. Just zero it in with the adjustments.
hmm, both the houdinis on location near me fail 100% of the time. havent seen a trunk lock correctly in probably 30 games. Im sure route games are harder to keep going than in your home, but still its like the major toy in the game and it doesnt work at all on route as far as ive seen.
watched the stream, was shocked how little the disc effected the ball travel. seems trivial to even have the disc. put insert lights in and put a magnet under the playfield and its a better game. imo
i wonder how long they knew they were going to do this. cause if it just happened with this announcement, that would mean no playfields are done and cleared and cured, am i right?

Give JJP some credit here. JJP created WOZ and started a revolution in what pinball could be. They inspired new startups with more innovative ideas. I credit them with busting Stern out of it’s dinosaur box, and with creating a Renaissance with our hobby.
POTC is still a great table without the triple disk.

Everyone always says pinball buyers on pinside are a minority, but how many non pinside people pre order games? Did JJP blast off this video explaining the changes to everyone who pre ordered or did they make a thread on pinside and call it a day?
so, for those who pre-ordered, did you get any sort of notification about the change or was the way you found out about it thru pinside?
Just curious if someone not on pinside maybe saw this at a show like TPF and made an order, and doesnt know about the change. what kind of shock that will be upon delivery.

IGN has a video of the proto games tho they did mention the difference with the trunk and disc not being in the real machines. Not sure what 6 innovations they are talking about.
