Quoted from Zora:Hi Scott, did you succeed in finalizing the de-install video of the chest lid? Would be great, because I would prefer having a complete set of instructions before starting the mod install.
Thank you!
Hummm you just have to undo what you do no?
Quoted from Nepi23:Thanks for the tips!
Rotating the 4-wing arm 180 degrees did the trick. Now the lid opens and closes correctly.
The leds are glowing yellow color, I guess that is correct and they will display red at some other time? Or should I adjust the color to red as a default?
There seems to be another problem developed now though. Treasure Chest multiball does not seem to be able to start. Have a look at the video:Any ideas what the correct here? Thank you![quoted image]
I had this issue Yesterday without this mod, balls seems to be magnetized. I actionned the release coil by test mode and finally release balls. Next game had good work
Quoted from Lancelin2k14:Yep, adding more power solved my issues. Thanks for your help. Great mod!
How do you add power ?
Thanks, nice stuff even for wpc reset issues!
I found a lightest solution, just use a string so less power needed and chest open without issue
Quoted from Lancelin2k14:I just plugged a mini usb cable in to the adrino and the other end in to the usb update port on the machine.
Prior to that, there was not enough power for the motor to run.
Nice!
Quoted from zaphX:Well, I spoke too soon about it working itself out. I am getting regular failures now. Frequent but not 100%.
The symptoms:
- Chest opens only a sliver of what it should.
- When the chest closes, it rises to its full height, then closes.
- Sometimes on boot when it does the open-close thing, it doesn’t open all the way there either, making a whirring noise when it stalls.
I don’t think the linkage is binding, but I’ll check it again.
I’m assuming the bootup sequence doesn’t care about the state of the microswitch, so the control arm for that is unlikely to be the culprit. I am guessing this is a power issue and it doesn’t have enough power to pull it down.
Any suggestions?
Try with string
