JJPOTC Virtual "Post Your Best Score" Tournament

So here's the deal!

- Post your best score to this thread between now and midnight CST Sunday May 12.
- Feel free to post it any time, and if you beat your own score just edit the post to update it.
- Include a photo of the endgame which shows your score and your character
- If you're a streamer and have a recording of your game, by all means include a YouTube link! We'd love to see how you achieved your amazing score. Just highlight it to the posted game only, please (not the full multi-hour stream.)
- If anything noteworthy or cool happened, please feel free to mention it! Wizard modes, 666666 multiball, whatever was awesome about your game. Brag about your mad skills!

Once the contest closes I'll make a followup post to congratulate the winners by category.

This is just for fun, folks - this is not a serious, militant, everything must be exactly the same, point-pressing tournament.

The settings I personally like to use are:

- 0.99 software
- All defaults
- 5 second ball save on
- Special configured to Extra Ball (because who needs a free game?)

If you prefer different settings, just note what you changed. Maybe we'll group the results by ball save / no ball save, etc.

Good idea! I'll be down for this when the machine gets here. Maybe virtual tournaments via Twitch Squad feature? Once those get rolled out wider. Looking forward to participating here in a couple weeks.

Oh I'm in. This will be fun since I just got the update done and my autolauncher working better ... Not great but better than yesterday.
Update: my auto launcher is working perfectly now! Turned out it was the wire ramp!! Also, a separate issue, Tortuga vuk was loose!
Update: Since it is a pirate game we should post high gold total

I was doing "random character select" and after ~6 games came away with this.

I keep getting greedy with the gold focused characters and building a largeish (~150-200) pot of gold, then draining ball 3 without having partied in Tortuga

But that is the joy of the random character select I guess . Thankfully Mr. Swan did not come up (that is the only groaner in single play).

Well here is my first entry. I am definitely trying to beat it before the cutoff but wanted to get something on the board!

I had 5 multiballs running at one point. Managed to get one extra ball.

Default settings (No ball save), Extra balls enabled, and I did get one or two of them. Biggest take away from this game is a chapter score high champ of 449k. Caught a recording of it but haven’t uploaded it yet.

Boy character selection certainly impacts the game. Tried to select some oddball ones but never really scored well.

Here is Davy Jones...absolutely nothing great about this game. One extra ball.

Not really.

I would be surprised if this is not tracked in more detail than you will need in the service menu. It seems like every stat imaginable is there.

Next submission. Same settings as before (default no ball save) Wizard modes 1 and 3 reached but not completed. Argh frenzy twice and something like 4-5 extra balls (map awards were really gracious). New personal best!

Some good scores, biggest variable not mentioned in rules is Outlane post setup. Game much easier with them closed up.

Thanks! Been slowly trying to improve my stream setup over time. Glad I was able to finally capture a GC on this machine on camera. Finally broke my curse of GCs only happening during test games.

Aw man, that sucks... Maybe it's performance anxiety, and another go sans audience later will give you better luck.

I tuned in 15 minutes late, and had issues playing the broadcast on my phone. Seems to be an issue with their app for me as of late.
