Quoted from zaphX:

Yeah, I'm struggling with this too

I can't remember who, but they had used zip ties on the coil, hoping to take the play out of it and that helped a little. But is still doing it! Unless someone else comes up with a fix, I will have to tear it apart and really get a good look at it when I have the time.
I will see if I can squeeze a e clip in one side and see if that helps.

The circled lock nut is what holds your flipper bat. Loosen and adjust to your liking.

Also if you don’t have the gap tool (pf to flipper gap) you can use a credit card.

#175 5 years ago

wesman I will take a look at mine tonight see if I can help out!

#185 5 years ago

I am pretty sure that's were mine sits as well. Do you have a pic of these shipping screws they are discussing now. I don't think I removed those either.

#189 5 years ago

Pinballomatic Just a FYI your glass is dirty

#203 5 years ago

wesman here are a few pics of my lock down bar. It does appear that my pf sits all the way against the bar when it is down. Screws are 1/4 inch out lock bar is 2 1/2 from right/s of cab.

Quoted from wesman:

Mine has a gap.

They all have a gap, as to why I don't know. Maybe LTG could answer that question. My Space Station from 1987 and Star Trek from 2013 also have this gap.
As for that crude in the corner, I have no idea. Would need another pic. But could be left over manufacturing garbage that was not cleaned up.

#273 5 years ago

LOL, Marine almost as bad as the Navy, Always pulling on thing's

#411 5 years ago

These winged nuts, can they be easily replaced with a plastic lock nut?

#419 5 years ago
Quoted from rs812:

Tnut is basically a flat captive nut.

Sorry brain fart, I knew that, lol! Will look at mine this evening to check it out.
Once again Thanks to all who keep posting fixes as this will come in handy for others!

Quoted from joseph5185:

THIS is a turning point to always resort to the book

Yep! And these new manuals are so awesome!
My first pin was space station, I almost had to take a class on how to read it, lol!
And follow what LTG said on learning to solder. There are also tons of little kits you can get pretty cheap to learn soldering.

#684 4 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

If you turn the boot warnings off, when you open the coin door and hit the Enter diagnostic button, any errors will be displayed

That what i did! Knowing that it can be played lots of times without some switches being hit. I just go in once or twice a month and check for switch errors and clear them by hand or fix as need be.

Going to finally do update since the last one was released. Will i need to do all the ones before or can I just do the one that was just released?

#826 4 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

I happened to have the right post because I had spares from doing the star post mod so I eventually reassembled with one of those

I am guessing but did you have to adjust the leaf switch again there and do you think the star post will help with the sdtm from chapter start?

#984 4 years ago
Quoted from wesman:

When you get to installing the map hole Cliffy's

That's what I am waiting on. I will also mylar the chapter start area and do a thorough cleaning and waxing. I might be close to 500 plays.

#1221 4 years ago

Have you checked to make sure the wiring harness is good and seated properly?

#1222 4 years ago

You could also unplug and check with dmm in the map test to make sure you are getting 12v.

I would get a hold of JJP. Sound's like a bad solder joint. It could possibly be a dirty opto but would not put too much stock in that. Since you pushed it into board and now it works, would suggest soldering issue.

I was in on a LE from the get go and never looked back. It is the first and only NIB I will ever buy and so glad I did. This pin is a blast and gets better the more you learn about it.
I think when the license runs out they won't make anymore "unfortunately"! And IMO the reason being would be cost of license to renew and the cost of making it.
Also, Is there a pin that disney has even let any one renew the license on?

Ok, need y’all’s opinion.

Quoted from EaglePin:

ball resting partly on the tip of the plunger

I noticed that as well but thought the ball rested on the plunger. I will check this out first. Since watching MarZ_78 video I can clearly see that his ball is resting on the forks. Thanks for the help and will report back soon!

#2601 4 years ago

Got the plunger seated correctly and tweaked the fork. Working 100% now! Thanks again.

I believe there is a two pin connector just under the pf for that switch as well. Don't know if you checked that yet?

#2997 3 years ago

MY lcd failed as well a year back. Make sure all cables, power and vga are securely plugged in. Check for power at the connector, if that is good use a spare vga cable and double check by hooking the monitor vga output to the small lcd and see if you get anything.
Also when you unplug the vga from the small lcd and turn on pin it will make the large monitor a smaller frame. I could never figure out why it does this.

And when you make your next purchase from a pinball parts dealer get your self a leaf adjustment tool.

Ok, thx....can't seem to locate the flipper alignment holes...I might be blind!!!

I don't think your blind unless I am too!
LTG, Is there a proper way to adjust flipper bats?

Quoted from 3pinballs:

Also noticed there was a rubber for the I Lane, so I put one in there

Yes the I lane should have a small rubber on it! In my case it would probably be smaller,

#3150 3 years ago

I think it is these. Does not have to be titan.

If I remember right you can loosen the screw that holds the mech on that side a little to level it up. Or tighten the rest to make it all level then lower the disc by the large nut and retighten.
Lowering or raising spinning map is done by loosening #8 and you can spin #2 then retighten #8
