Working on a JJP WOZ that failed... horribly... Lost the mobo and the hard-drive. I've got a new mobo and a new HD... but I can't for the life of me get the thing to boot. The software will install (it seems) but when it reboots it comes up with errors that flash on the screen for a split second then it reboots and starts the cycle all over again. I've tried a different, known working (as it was my Linux drive for my computer) but it does the exact same thing.

Are there any settings I could be missing in BIOS? Has anyone had to rebuild an early JJP WOZ from the ground up and ran into this issue?

Definitely call JJP support.
They can walk through the bios setting needed.
I screwed up and took the battery out once and that messed everything up.

I've called and talked to them, but as soon as I mentioned it was a prototype they pretty much just stopped helping because they don't support prototypes.

That’s a bummer!!
I wish I had recorded my experience redoing all those bios.
So many menus to navigate in bios changing little things here there,to get the game to probably boot.
Hopefully the right person sees your post!

Would you be able to get a picture of the errors displayed on screen?
What is the motherboard manufacturer/model?

Before failing, were your Woz already upgraded to 7.04?

Prototypes can't be updated. You need what ever software was in there before the crash.

The copies on the "Wayback Machine" aren't good... they'll download and extract, but several of the folders will be empty files (0kb). And the people at Jersey Jack say they don't have any code from that far back... and I just have to pretend to believe that. Either way, nothing I can do about the code.

I really just need those BIOS settings I guess and I'll worry about the right code when the machine will actually boot ANY of the codes.
