I'm really curious about Smaug. But i think most people will be dissapointed when it's revealed. The build up and expectation is to great for it to live up to it i fear. Most people seem to forget these are pinball toys not sideshow collectables.

Quoted from CraZ4Pin:Yes, they're pinball "toys", however, a big reason for raising the price level to $8,000 was to raise the level of quality in the toys themselves (among other things.) These were promised to not just be another "plastic toy". So yes, I think people in general expect a greater level of detail and mechanical action in these toys.
True, Better detail may be expected on some toys. For me personally the level of detail on toys like the ship from Potc, Sparky, hell all the toys from Metallica, the hulk from Avengers and Balrog from Lotr for example, are the level of detail and quality i expect.
But to use an example you used, the witch of WOZ, the detail is ok enough for the place it's positioned.
Just my opinion of course.
