FYI, the kit was ordered late December 2019 so I am hopeful that many of the updates that have been discussed and found here on Pinside are included!!
I just had a board go bad on mine (The Cowardly Lion board at $250) so I'm thinking I'll get the 2.0 kit as well. It's hard to spend the $800 on the kit, but I don't want to add $250 to the cost to get a board that has a greater chance of failing rather than bite the bullet and get the 2.0 kit. I was looking online for the instruction set but have not come across it yet, so thank you for posting it! Everyone says to plan 14 hours or so for the conversion.
Jersey Jack does have the kit listed on the website as "made to order". I was also hoping to wait to see if the GI brightness "issue" would get addressed on a newer kit, but I think it's time for me to get one now.
You’re very welcome. Seems logical given your lighting issues to pull the trigger while the kit is still less expensive. I have not opened mine other than to place the directions on Pinside. I am glad they were helpful to you
