I’m interested as well; but, I’m curious to see what the difference in light output will be on the finished version. In theory. It should be a big change. Looking forward to seeing the finished results.

Good timing as well as my 2.0 kit is finally shipping soon; but, knocks on wood - my 7.5v boards are still going strong. I thought I had a problem at own point; but; it turned out to be a loose header pin on a board that I was lucky to see when it fell out while trying to figure out why the lights would work when the playfield was up and then would fail when it almost got set back down. Gravity.

Quoted from Bluepilot:

I have the 7v. Will this work as a replacement? No one can find 2.0 anymore

Call or email JJP for the 2.0. They have a waiting list going and the next set of them is just about to arrive.

From what the OP mentions, this is only good for the 2.0 configuration.

Quoted from tomypin:

Hi Matt,
Im also interest in the kit, but a little question, have your kit also the RGB lightning as the original 2.0 or is the GI only in White ?
Regards
Thomas

The render he posted of the topside of the board indicates a 5050 RGB SMD. So, I believe that is the intent.
