Ouch, I went to sleep so excited to see the reveal today, and the this is what we got. Zero desire to try for a CE at this point and unsure if even an LE purchase. Really hoping it shoots great, which I believe it will. Pretty bummed about this one

Quoted from Jackrabbt:Spooky is looking a lot smarter today. For Halloween and Ultraman they showed no pictures, no video, nothing. FOMO caused the titles to sell out when the order lines opened. Web site crashed! JJP releasing pictures and video of TS4 are hurting sales already. Imagine if they gave us nothing before 12:00.
Am I crazy? I could have sworn I saw the little 30 second trailers for Halloween and UM before ordering mine at launch. There were also numerous pictures. I had just wanted gameplay video to understand the rules, which we didn't get until much later.
I agree with the thought that this will take a dive in resale. I loved being a new owner and for a while just cycling through games because everything was a risk free trial with the way prices were going. That absolutely feels like it’s changing and my wife and I had a discussion before buying TS4 about how, if we sold it at some point, we would almost certainly lose a few thousand. I did end up getting one because I was able to get a good deal involving a trade. At least I know what I’m into. I have a 4 and 2 year old and they were really excited to play for the first time yesterday.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:After 2 weeks in the company office the game is still down more often than it is up due to stuck balls. There are some serious design flaws in this game, and I am bringing styrofoam with me next time I'm there to press into shape to keep the ball from getting stuck in certain spots. I'm still dialing in switches as well but this is a hard fail from JJP as far as I'm concerned.
This doesn’t seem normal. I haven’t had a single stuck ball in about 50 plays on this game. If you are getting them all over the place something must be well out of intended position. Other than my lockdown bar rail being a little bent, which they immediately sent a replacement for, I haven’t had any issues at all. That’s not to discredit your situation but it is to say that the way yours is playing is likely not the intended design.
Also, I was way out on this game but had a strange series of events that led to a great deal for one and so I ended up getting it. $12k is overpriced but the game is very fun and my family loves it. I have only owned GNR, DI and Hobbit from JJP but this is my favorite by a good margin.
