Lots of complainers. Like every new release.

I think its looks a like a fun shooter, and the launch ramp looks killer. Reminds me of Gophers.

This will sell out (CE's) quickly and be $30k by Xmas.

Quoted from Zambonilli:

Exactly, I think there is an angle where the larger playfield screen can let future code updates add more value. It might be an interesting smaller scale p3 type experiment in a pinball game.

Pat should have put the mini display above the flippers in the pf. Make it look like a Cracker Jack box or something around it. Then in the upper left hand corner he should have made a carousel that would lock all the balls and then shoot them all out a once depending on what mode your in. Lots of wasted potential here. Agreed it should be just called 'Toy Story'. TS4 is our least favorite of them. However, could be a fun shooter.

Quoted from Thunderbird:

Right on! Now you’re talking about what most all of us were looking for in a Toy Story machine. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Mr. Potato head, T Rex etc, fighting Emperor Zurg, not collecting tickets. Lol!
There in appears to be one of the main problems when a designer has little to no clue about the Toy Story line and its plot. That’s why he designed something entirely different from the Toy Story franchise, even foreign from TS4 story, as he has no connection. His connection is carnivals, the part of the story that wasn’t really there, except as a minor place next to the antique store, that’s it. To be clear, Pat saw only the trivial carnival aspect, not the whole TS movie franchise story plot. So that is why we got TS4 without the real story…all making somewhat more sense now as to why he made TS4 the way he did.

Wonder what Pat thinks of Rudy 2.0?

Side note, just got Rudy 2.0 and think its great and hilarious. WE need more comedy in pinball. Someone mentioned earlier as a joke Police Academy 4 pinball. This would be hilarious as well. Proctor!

Quoted from iceman44:

It was over 10 years ago with WOZ Indy. $6500 was unheard of then for a new game.
Jack said he wanted WOZ to be the least innovative game they make.
Not sure why people forget the outrage over price increases for the past decade every time it happened to now
I can remember people being pissed an AC/DC premium was going up $200. $6,400 if I recall.
Every single LE increase people bitched and moaned and laughed at those of us that kept buying them.
Demand, flippers and these guys making great games have caused prices to soar for the past decade.
Look at the Pinside Marketplace, it’s not one or two examples, it’s across the board and that right there is why prices are where they are at today.
Stern will 100% raise prices again.
It’s only gonna end when buyers stop buying in BOTH the NIB and used market.
Maybe this time it’s game over?
I think it is. The $15k mass produced pin market isn’t sustainable long term. I don’t care how much is in a game.
The “price bubble” is gonna burst. Grapple with that one

I think the bubble will burst when the next generation comes of age. That would be my kids and most millennials.

Highly unlikely they will buy new pinball machines or used for that matter. They don't care about nostalgia like all of us here on Pinside.

The demographic will change once us 40+ year plus olds stop buying or slow down.

Just my 2 cents.

Quoted from iceman44:

That makes sense. My kids and wife would get rid of my pins next day when I go

Same here.

Maybe we should will all our pins to one another?
