Did anyone attend the Midwest Gaming Classic? If yes, we’re any clues dropped by JJP regarding Toy Story reveal timing?
My distributor just indicated he’s received his initial allocations from JJP and he believes it will be revealed in the next 2-3 weeks. He also said he’s seen the pin, it is Toy Story, and he thinks it will meet or exceed pinhead expectations!
Quoted from kapaun:As a dumb person new to buying what’s the best strategy if I’ve dragged my feet to this point. Get on distributors interest list or wait for SE or LE direct from JJP website?
If late in the game I’d order from JJP direct on day 1. However, if you’d like someone in your corner if something goes wrong, then buying through a distributor is your best bet.
Quoted from romulusx:No soup for you!
I visited the real soup nazi in NYC, the soup was delicious albeit $20, and the chef looks just like the Seinfeld character.
IMO, if it is based on a movie no one has seen yet (“Lightyear”) there will by a major negative reaction from the Pinhead community. It has to be based on either TS1 or TS1-4
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Have we established that this pin is based on Toy Story 4 and not the Buzz Lightyear movie? When theme comes up, some people have been dancing around just coming out and calling it Toy Story. So I wonder if it is really based on BL and it won’t be called Toy Story per se.
How has JJP released pins previously and has their process been consistent?
Is it a teaser video provided with a release date, then they start taking orders 9am on release date?
Or, do they release a full video and start taking orders immediately?
