One positive that I think is universally recognized is the work of JP DeWin. With every JJP release that is one of the main things I can't wait to see. IMO he is the gold standard in pinball animation and this looks just as great and polished.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned yet is if this game uses any of the new light sensors that JJP created and used in GNR. Maybe there wasn’t a good use case for them in this one? GNR uses them for the skill shot and the guitar locks and I’m sure there could be other unique elements where they could be handy. Perhaps this game was mostly completed when that was being created for GNR?
