Quoted from DaddyManD:The shooter rod shows this is based on ToyStory
The shooter rod is 'the pixar ball' - originally from Luxo Junior, so it doesn't really tell you anything specific.

Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:This is what manufacturing is supposed to look like. Games and parts and tools everywhere. JJP is getting it done.
[quoted image]
But no people. JJPs factory pics rarely show anybody working on anything - if they’re even in the picture. Always thought that was odd. Respecting the privacy of their line employees? Or really don’t have many people assembling?
Quoted from flynnibus:It's hard to film when the environment is loud and disruptive.
Same reason auto youtuber's film when their shop is idle or isolated for filming.
Pictures. Not video. Audio not an issue.
Every picture I’ve seen of the JJP line for years now is the same, maybe one guy working if any.
Quoted from Scot0308:Um, you obviously don't understand how inflation works. Their costs have been inflated just as much as yours. Therefore, they must raise prices to makeup for their increased costs. Economics 101.
Yeah, but pinball prices following along with the inflation rate for a ‘full featured’ game - are more like where stern premium pricing is, not 12-15 grand. Cactus Canyon was $4300 retail in 98, that’s like 7800 now adjusted for inflation.
Quoted from SLAMT1LT:So... you'd all prefer a single toy at the back of the playfield rather than a screen that offers 100 more gameplay options, with near endless opportunity for new ideas and updates long into the future?
People already have phones and tables for those "100 more gameplay options" - the thing that makes pinball what it is, is the physical game. Even the P3 (with it's giant LCD playfield) understands that the back third is better when there are physical mechs - things for the ball to do.
