Quoted from APfan1:K-man's cover photo didn't age very well...

Still waiting on my Jaws he promised was coming out Christmas 2018.
Quoted from PinMonk:Whether or not you pay the tax you owe, you absolutely owe tax on stuff you buy online.
As someone who recently got audited I can confirm this is true. Also you aren’t only supposed to be paying taxes on new products but used ones as well. My Mrs Pac was made over 40 years ago and has been bought and sold several times but I still need to pay tax when I buy it because it’s not a tax on the item but a tax on the transaction. Or so it has been explained to me.
Slept on it. Toy Story 4 instead of just Toy Story is definitely a bummer but I have no doubt the game is going to shoot fun. However, shooting fun is Stern’s path to victory. JJP is built on loaded games and this just simply isn’t loaded. I guess we will see how pricing shakes out but I really don’t think they can justify 12k for the cheapest option. I will say I think LE is a viable option at least. Surprised there isn’t a SE considering the theme being so good for all ages arcades.
Quoted from PtownPin:Interesting choice having a kid play the game. I guess they're trying to market to parents that will buy the game for the kids?
Rich parents who have never owned a pinball machine before and will resale the game after two months when their kids don’t play it anymore. It’s a niche market but it exists.
It doesn’t matter how fast things sell out when the market is flooded with distributors, sub distributors, and flippers. Distress are going to be begging people to buy these for the next two years.
Quoted from Doctor6:I can see the zach meney review already.
Haha. For real. I like Zach but he’s going to be in Toy Story 4 shill hell for years.
Quoted from J85M:Could I politely ask what the thought process was to have a 10” display to play a digital pinball layout in a physical pin? It’s abit of a head scratcher so I’m genuinely curious and interested to know, was there no other video mode ideas?
You know what I love about physical pinball? Digital pinball!
Quoted from zaphX:I hope so! Definitely got our moneys worth on Wonka.
Here. You got your #1 JJP fanboy badge. You can stop trying to positive spin this 12k empty playfield themed after the 4th movie of a series that should have been a trilogy.
The biggest sin is the price. The ONLY reason this hobby has a future is because arcade bars are hooking new players. At JJP prices it doesn’t really make sense to put these games on location. JJP is clearly here for while the getting sis good and not for the long haul.
Quoted from flynnibus:That was Gary Stern's spiel when he was trying to hold onto the 4k price point. JJP proved him wrong, and now pinball, both on location and in homes is bigger than it has been in almost 30 years.
Pinball is still cheap in comparison to most coinOp equipment. The key is to make them EARN - not make them cheap.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say you don’t op. A 12k pin is more expensive than most coin op stuff that earns better and breaks less. Skee ball, basketball shooters, 4 player pac man, you name it. Classic arcades have gone up a little but we are talking 1-2k range not 12-15k. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Sure JJP has pushed the market higher but maintaining pinball on location is already a labor of love. At JJP prices it’s just not worth it.
