I think they are missing an element that would help drive sales by using TS4, NOSTALGIA!

Basing it on TS4, I think they are missing an element that would help drive sales , NOSTALGIA!

Pat: We need a big lcd on the playfield. All the kids are using them these days and will pull them in. That translates perfectly to pinball!

JJP: You sure that is a good idea?

Pat. Two words, Dialed In!

Quoted from pluto:

Another big reason for me (this is my first JJP) but I do appreciate how good of a job they display progress and mode rules. I love having friends over to play my GZ, JP and DP but trying to get them into it those are deep games. When I try to get them into, say, JP and talk about a Paddock mode - hit rescues, then the trap targets then the roaming dinosaur I know I lose some people somewhere. And don't get me started on GZ.
So having what appears to be an approachable pin in my collection I'm actually stoked for.

"Approachable" should never cost 12-15k.

Quoted from Hollywoodbone:

And it will…………….when we review it!!!!!!! That haven’t happened yet!

And this is why I am team Greg. I have watched all the SDTM videos multiple times. Greg calls it real. I often get a salesman feeling with Zach and his justifications of shortcomings, but still like his input. Greg is the one who always reigns Zach's comments to a reality I can handle. That is why they work so great together both as information and entertainment.

I don't hate JJP. I hate a price tag of $12-15k for a somewhat generic game.

Dang.. Already out in the real word. Well done JJ! [quoted image]

Ummm, that lcd under the glass looks exactly like my 4 year olds amazon fire tablet...

Quoted from jamieflowers:

Sure its more expensive than GNR etc but so is EVERYTHING....go buy gas, milk, cars, houses etc. Inflation is a bitch

Did you just compare inflation on everyday necessities to a $15,000 pinball game?

Wow... just wow.

You, sir, are the problem.

Quoted from Scot0308:

Um, you obviously don't understand how inflation works. Their costs have been inflated just as much as yours. Therefore, they must raise prices to makeup for their increased costs. Economics 101.

Inflation 8.6%. Explain the 30% for JJp????

No your thinking of Tom Hanks brother doing Woody

Ah, yes. My mistake as I was GWJing the beers last night contemplating Raza.

Quoted from Amused_to_Death:

The slot actually has better sound fx and way better use of actual assets. I'd buy the slot but still pass on the pin. And Wonka was my dream theme.

I watched the Jack Danger stream, and the sound fx reminded me of being at an arcade full of redemption games. Nothing sounded cohesive.. just dings and bings blending with carnival music. just my opinion.

Quoted from flynnibus:

That maybe your neck of the woods - but that’s why they call it anecdotal evidence.
Breweries do exactly what you say doesn’t happen / because in many areas breweries can’t have late hours

I was at a brewery on a Saturday, middle of the day. Probably 50 adults, they have about 25 pins. I played for an hour and a half and I think I saw maybe 2 or three others play a game or 2, Taxi and T2 and DE SW. GZ, EHOH, Mando, all sat unplayed. The shuffle bowler was played more than the pins! I was a bit surprised.

Quoted from iceman44:

That makes sense. My kids and wife would get rid of my pins next day when I go

My wife would keep some she really likes, and she's only 34. I trained her well

Edit: Let me add I have a lot of life insurance too, sooooo...
