Quoted from Dexter:$15K for CE and $12K for LE
Nope. Not worth it. Sorry JJP.
Half hour to go before sales open and still no video JJP? Maybe you want people to put a non-refundable deposit down first for a reason.
Quoted from Dexter:Strange they send an AVAILABLE NOW email and nothing works.
Not any stranger than releasing a TOY STORY pin based on TOY STORY 4.
excellent marketing - email goes out and nothing is accessible via provided links
EDIT: they just sent out a revised email that says Available at 12 Noon
Awesome, anybody that cares saw everything this morning
Quoted from mrm_4:At this point I think JJP should make a game based on that paperclip from microsoft that would help you write things. That would be so much better than this turd.
Clippy the next 15k game from JJP!
[quoted image]
Can you imagine how many people would get they're, there, their, your, and you're correct if they just had a JJP Clippy CE!!!

And now a second email with the time. lol

Care to paste the links?
I wonder if their still trying to resolve the issues with the website hack .....can't have ppl sending millions of dollars to a website that was just exposed
JJP messed this up bad. Just got a "now available" from JJP 10 minutes ago. 2 minutes ago I got a "Available at noon" message from JJP.
Does anyone have a for sure list of the differences between LE and CE the email doesn’t say? Is it just cosmetic topper and shooter?
I must have reached a turning point in pinball collecting, the FOMO is completely dead in me... Sadly, was one that I really wanted during the rumor mill phase, but the reveal doesn't tick any nostalgia boxes and the price stomped out any remaining hope.
Quoted from Rarehero:Official JJP Employee insults potential customers who have valid critiques of a $15k product. Cool. Keep it up, Official JJP Employee. Solid PR strategy.
I'm impressed he's even commenting at all....from his prospective he's defending his company, which is understandable.
Quoted from Yesh23:Have we got any confirmation on the pricing yet?
Yep $12K and $15K ..... if this was a WOZ type build I might reconsider, but the new JJP stripped down model no thanks at that pricing. I'll just wait and pick one up on the secondary market. LE's in a year will be $10K or less
I think it looks cool...really wish there was an SE option. My family loves Toy Story and Forky. Not for $12,000...
Interesting choice having a kid play the game. I guess they're trying to market to parents that will buy the game for the kids?
Quoted from zaphX:I know how to set up games and make sure they are working.
My problem was the code. I had zero incentive to keep trying to get better, because all of the modes were randomized at low levels of accomplishment.
Contrast with Wonka where the payoff for the 4th golden ticket is awesome and keeps us trying and trying to repeat.
R&M is a great game but do agree the scoring could be more rewarding as it is all stacked on getting the 10th adventure.
Looks like JJP changed their marketing strategy from marketing to middle age men with money to marketing to middle age men with money and kids between the ages of 5 and 10. That is a much smaller market.
That looks like it was truly made for little girls lol I don't even want to try this pin never mind buy it Yuuuuuuck!!!!
Quoted from PtownPin:Interesting choice having a kid play the game. I guess they're trying to market to parents that will buy the game for the kids?
Thats Disney Marketing 101

Rich parents who have never owned a pinball machine before and will resale the game after two months when their kids don’t play it anymore. It’s a niche market but it exists.

or when the ball gets stuck and can't figure out how to take the glass out..
That gigantic iPad instead of a mech is terrible. Jersey Jack is taking pinball the wrong direction.

But it won't exist for long if it forces JJP out.
Making this of toy story 4 is like making a pee wee herman pin on big top pee wee instead of pee wee's big adventure. If you can't make the game based on the best content in the franchise then they probably should of dropped the license. The big LCD on the playfield is lazy and the border looks like 2005 and cheap.

Yeah, but I'm sure my daughter would LOVE this!
Quoted from ExSquid:Yeah, but I'm sure my daughter would LOVE this!
No doubt... but for how long?
Quoted from zaphX:[quoted image]
I own that Printer…where do you get your toner? It’s expensive….
Quoted from LouMatt:Game looks cool to me, looking forward to playing it.
But will you buy it?
Despite all the issues people have had with JJP, and their playfields I was still in for a CE because of the theme. I would have bet money this theme couldn't have been done wrong. Somehow, JJP made a Toy Story theme that in my eyes is not Toy Story at all.
What a colossal disappointment. Easy decision to pass on this one.
My first grandchild will be born sometime in October. Going to be a girl. She might like this when I pick it up second hand 4-5 years from now.
Quoted from LouMatt:Game looks cool to me, looking forward to playing it.
The problem here with this quote...I believe we're all looking forward to playing it but not owning it. Who's going to buy this so we can all play it????
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:No doubt... but for how long?
Good question, but that's the same question I personally have with myself with every pin I buy. Its all an educated guess I think. Who knows....
Quoted from Freakyguy666:I own that Printer…where do you get your toner? It’s expensive….
I don't remember - I've only had to replenish it twice.
Does yours go offline frequently and require a powercycle?
Quoted from Yesh23:The problem here with this quote...I believe we're all looking forward to playing it but not owning it. Who's guying to buy this so we can all play it????
I am lucky to have a brother and friend who are buying it, so I will get to play their games.
Quoted from NightTrain:Where does this shot go to? Looks like a saucer, but then What?
[quoted image]
Saucer kicks the ball to the right to feed the upper flipper.
Quoted from dnaman:But will you buy it?

I plan on ordering, and having LouMatt over to help set up !
