I've seen several people mention JJP will be making a new GNR pinball machine which I am very hesitant to believe.

Sure would bring a whole new meaning to family friendly pinball.

    My Michelle
    Guns N' Roses

    Your daddy works in porno
    Now that mommy's not around
She used to love her heroin
    But now she's underground
So you stay out late at night
And you do your dope for free
    Drivin' your friends crazy
    With your life's insanity
Well, well, well you just can't tell
    Well, well, well my Michelle
    Sowin' all your wild oats
    In another's luxuries
    Yesterday was Tuesday
    Maybe Thursday you can sleep
But school starts much too early
    And this hotel wasn't free
So party till your connection call
    Honey I'll return the key
Well, well, well you just can't tell
    Well, well, well my Michelle
Well, well, well you never can tell
    Well, well, well my Michelle

Would love another Guns pin.....base it off of Appetite for destruction.....

Can't wait to see the video clips to go along with this gem off GNR Lies.

    C'mon Jack, make it so!

Story came last year after Slash played Dialed In and actually owns a WOZ pinball. Although it would make sense to get into rock band themed pinball since arcade rooms are not big pinball buyers, it could be a good idea to turn to bars and pubs where pinballs were back in the (good) old days.

That's where my original GnR spent it's life before I got it, and if you opened it up and took a whiff, you could tell!

They better start selling games before they can build any new ones. At 9k for pirates I’m not seeing it happening

After 33 years, you would hope that there were other, even older, ideas for a pin.

Slash is an avid fan of pinball and was on the concept and design team for the DE GnR in the 90s.
Hes even written a few songs about pinball, like this one.

    Me and a friend decided
    To leave our lives behind
    Wife, child, credit cards
    Get in the car, good-bye
Got stuff packed in the trunk
Pulled the plunger and closed our eyes
    Whatever lane, left or right
It'll be the trip of our lives
Be the ball - Life is one big arcade
Be the ball - The aim is to be the game
Be the ball - The nest four minutes are a total surprise
Be the ball - Hell-bent, damn, we learn drive
    Through the pits and valleys,
Through the tunnels in the maze
We don't know where we're going
But we got the Stones cranked
As fast as the orbit takes us
Is just how fast we'll play
    Around the bumpers and
    Down the drain
We're so out there, we feel no pain
Be the ball - Don't you try to set your sights
Be the ball - You'll never get it right
Be the ball - Gonna see the world tonight
Be the ball - Hell-bent, damn, we love to drive
    We love to drive
    Drive
Be the ball - The last four minutes we quite a ride
Be the ball - It's too late to change our minds
Seen it all - We are so amazingly high
Be the ball - Hell-bent, damnit, we love to drive

If they do the question becomes fat Axl or skinny Axl?

    #11 9 months ago

    never happen

    #12 9 months ago

Personally i hope they stay away from music pins alltogether, its probably more polarizing than other types of themes. It would be a major bummer if they spent time on that when they could be making something more inclusive.

Slash is a salaried employee of GNr inc. and likely has no say in licensing or anything else to do with the band.

He’s playing Chinese democracy songs on stake for Pete’s sake!!

Like todays movies. Remakes of movies that weren't even that good. Lack of ideas.

I would probably be in for a JJP GNR

Selling Pirates won't be a problem.
    Making them......

    #17 9 months ago

I sure hope not. A Back to the Future trilogy pinball machine by JJP would easily sell 10x as many games.

Solved as they are making them now

Maybe the object of the game could be to help fat Axel slim down for a new world tour? As far as song lyrics go you can't get much more offensive than " Its so easy". Its one of their better songs too.

I’m not so sure about this. The most recent music pins from ac/dc through Iron Maiden have sold like hot cakes and that is with sterns quality, coding and non state of the art features.

If JJP were do GNR I have no doubt it would be their best seller to date. Just my opinion though and the only thing that would possibly make this statement not possible would be if they priced it north of where we are now.

Music licenses I believe for the most part are a good bit cheaper than these mega movie titles.

JJP has done an original theme, 3 iconic movie themes and now it is time to branch out and do a knock your socks off, in your face rock n roll machine!

I think thats what JJP really needs to do. Add some offensive lyrics so you really get your money's worth for those already offensive prices.

    "You could be mine"

Yes, they aren't dummies and that's why I said I was hesitant to believe this rumor.

They know what kind of bread and butter themes their core set of buyers are after and it's a formula that works.

    Please....no!

I would like to see JJP stay in business.

    #33 9 months ago

There are a lot of "circumstances" adding up to make this rumor have some weight to be more believable. I believe it based on things I have seen and read, but pinball companies keep things secret for so long we can only speculate. Guessing it is not the "next" release but ... JJP will be having a 1.5 hour presentation at Expo scheduled on Friday (10/19)... maybe something will be said then. ???

    #34 9 months ago

I'd be in on one. Would be great next to my Metallica and IMLOTB. But not the DE one. It's OK, but audio sucks [yes I know about pinsound] and the layout isn't the greatest. I think it's one of DE best, but that isn't saying a whole lot.

+1, let's hope it's Stern. JJP needs to finish Toy Story!

    #37 9 months ago

I think should do a Vault edition with updates ! I would buy one today
Bigger screen like AFMR LE LEDs
    Better topper

    #38 9 months ago

I would probably be game for one if different from the original I already have.

    #39 9 months ago

Well Slash loves pinball, so I can see another GNR pinball . Jjp would be nice
I hate Sterns new cabinet I think it sucks

    #40 9 months ago

Rule should be that before a band gets a second pin, they need to have recorded at least one good song since the first game.

Interesting how there is still quite a bit of chat about JJP doing this title.... in the Stern sub-forum.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they go out of business before then

Better yet, before a band gets even one game, that they have recorded at least one song in the last 20 years worthy enough to make it onto the game soundtrack.

And here is the new pinball machine that Slash was working. Enjoy!

I wonder if Slash will be the presenter at the reveal. A nice little guitar solo as the curtain drops off of the pin ... Come on JJP, make the reveal epic ... whenever this one is scheduled.

    #46 8 months ago

Mentioned before that Slash has a WOZ.
    Slash also has a Dialed-In!
Thats 2 JJP's he has confirmed.
