I’m still having some reservations regarding Potc and am trying to come up with a plan B to roll my deposit over to.
What are your thoughts on POTC vs MMR?

Dialed In
Game and theme do nothing for me. I tried to like it but found it extremely boring. Not a machine to buy when you decide to walk away from it mid ball.

Yikes, that's harsh. Hard to believe you can think it's that bad, wow.
Simple.
Decide if you’d rather have a game where they took away the coin mech or a game where they took away the 3 spinning disc mech.
MMr. Great original theme, humor, toys, art, code by Lyman, music, epic callouts, fun shots. I should have listened to everyone and bought one earlier. Have you also considered AFMr LE?

MMR comes with coin mechs now tho .

Just didn’t work for me. Didn’t intend for it to be a harsh statement.

Extremely boring???
Yes boring for me but this post wasn’t about dialed in, someone else tossed in a random game.
I asked on an opinion of potc vs mmr.
I would get MMR today even though I prefer Pirates. Why? I'm tired of buying new games that go through minor hardware revisions during their first few production runs. The games we are talking about are now $8k-$9500, for that type of money I don't want to deal with fix kits and other early adopter issues. MMR's being made today are solid as they have been in production for a while. Pretty much every new game goes through at least some minor hardware revisions early on. This is one of the reasons I went with a new Dialed In today versus an early POTC. I would get a MMR today and then down the road decide if I want to keep it or sell it to get POTC.
