Showing off my “Davy Jones “ shooter kit

I got good response on the mod , and finished off my first batch for the CE’s this week. They’ll be limited anyway due to the 200 production, but I’m collecting orders again to see if I can get a decent second run!

CE kit is 300,- euro’s 2 parts, one shooter, one inner gun barrel

Shooter, Existing pistol modified and hand sculpted/ painted. Coated with 2pack soft touch rubber clear .

Barrel, metal cast mounted on wood base

Not sure yet on the style for it, probably a worn wood look, a little more basic.
Or possibly an ivory handle I’ve worked on, but being an all metal donor pistol I might need to get that 3D printed . Its quite heavy.

Looking for opinions here , so I can determine what is them is the most popular look , and Carry on from there.

Some I stained ebony once, some twice, and one is all black “ the blackbeard”
One is a lefthander.

Pricewise , 250,- euro’s for the LE kit.

The eagle one is cool, but weight is a problem.. a strong spring is needed to get that 550 grammes of metal moving.
Im undecided if I should make more, or get a 3D handle with metal fittings to bring it down . If anyone wants one, its 300,-. But I dont endorse that heavy a shooter to be honest .

Ofcourse, I wish I could make a small video to upload how it operaties.

Basically, its just a big pistol shsped shooter rod, that you pull back. Nothing more nothing less. But it hugs over the outer spring so it looks more solidly connected to the cab.

Im sure now they are arriving at homes, someone will review it or post a pic/video

I have sent 17 out into the wild so far , and stocking five more currently. I was aiming for 25-30 total to keep it limited

If anyone else is interested in one fast for CE , lt me know , the last run will be done in June .

What top part are we talking about here, the complete flint lock mech?

All parts are bonded on with 2pack epoxy glue. And an extra screw to keep the flint lock in place.

Sure hope there have not been more failures.

The little top metal decoration is not on all of them. Possibly the bond broke as its glued on the 2 pack coating. Might have taken a piece of that with it. Re-glueing should do the trick.

If its happened to anyone else i apologise in advance.
