Quoted from RichieWrench:Now that I see some of you have mentioned the plate - I will make sure that I make it a point to powder coat that plate. I will do my best on that and want to thank those that have brought that to my attention -- If only others will do that on those coin doors from the factory.
The rims! They are the ugliest part of the truck - did everyone miss that? That's like the legs of a pinball machine being ... not even chrome. I think a shiny blue chrome powder coating on those would look good. Just sayin ...
Quoted from arcadem:Just curious but has any one seen what the topper for the LE looks like? With all of the discussion centered on "toys" being removed, I am surprised that I haven't seen the topper mentioned. I know it is rumored to be some kind of laser cut item like the Hobbit mod or the WOZ but I sure would like to see it. If , as stated in the last stream, production is starting soon, shouldn't that be ready?
I asked Eric about it last weekend at the MGC show and he said that JJP hadn't received them from the vendor yet, but they were due to be in very soon. He said it would be a similar style as the WOZ RR 75th edition topper.
Quoted from RichieWrench:yeah....like really.....A SERIOUS BUMP
ALL I KNOW RIGHT NOW IS THST I OWE SOMEONE 11,500.00 AND SHIPPING
Come on JJP ...is there anything....a sneak peek, maybe a little update......something.
BUT NO......
All I got was an email saying that I owe money.....
Well..at least it going to be. nice game and cant wait to have it. Sounds like we might get these game this year before Christmas
Yep, they're going to start making the CEs up through Christmas and that's why I can't get an LE by Christmas. Oh well, CE buyers have been waiting a long time for their's.
Quoted from FryDaddy:They are set to start building all 200 next week. Does anyone know how long it will take to finish and ship.
I was told that some will likely arrive at homes before Christmas. Probably not all 200 though.
Quoted from Yelobird:I think you should share this calming technique with Joe tonight. Say around 3am. What are friends for!
Hey, it's a two way street. A few weeks ago I sent Joe a text about JJPOTC at about 10PM. He responded at 4:30AM. He must have just finished a conversation with @richiewrench. Do these guys ever sleep?
Quoted from RichieWrench:this was the door that he is talking about.....

I would frame and mount that on your wall, then shine a spotlight on it.
Quoted from DylanFan71:Instruction for the topper? Anyone?
Measure Topper height. If topper does not have enough clearance with ceiling, send to KingBW for his LE.
Couldn't resist.
For WOZ and TH, the LE's (and Smaug Edition) had a set maximum that would be produced. Once they reached that production quantity, all that was left to produce was the standard editions. They created the RR and Black Arrow as unlimited production units to keep making an LE "type" or "style" of machine. With DILE and JJPOTCLE, they did not make a maximum declaration, but did provide the CE's instead with the maximum units declaration. Since the LE models are ironically unlimited (no maximum production units), they will likely not make additional variations/versions. CE buyers should not fear some better version coming along ... in my opinion.
