There was some initial discussion right after the reveal (My opinion was asked the Monday after Expo to be exact) about raising the number of CEs once they sold so well and the topper being for sale and yes, JJP could have raked in more money for sure, but they did the right thing and stuck to what they announced to their credit. On the other hand the topper is very cool, but it adds value to those folks paying a lot of money. I commend JJP for doing the right thing there.

Do you think JJP will release a newly themed/skinned version of POTC (like a Black Pearl Edition)?
If so, would it upset you if it was priced at LE levels but was limited to say 500 games? What if it was priced as a CE and included same topper with a run of 200?
I’m a capitalist to an extreme so I’m not pissed or worried about this possibility but it does intrigue me as an interesting business decision for JJP and curious to see what folks think.

JJP didn’t have 3 levels of games with WOZ or Hobbitt when they were released did they? My bet is now that they have gone to this Se, LE, CE model they won’t be rethemeing/reskinning games. We won’t see it with DI (not that there any good opportunities for this with the custom theme) and I bet we don’t see it with POTC. Time will tell I guess.
