DANG IT....No Powder Coating on the Coin Door......$%^&!!!!

They are getting better and better guys and gals.

Like the lollipop design. Maybe they are taking some notes from some of us and what we like to see on the game. The other versions will not have lollipop design going around the flipper button. This is a nice feature as well to have on the Collectors Edition.

maybe not too late......rumors are that this might be ready as soon as 1 quarter or 2018...but that is a rumor....I need to ask Joe.

Maybe if all 200 of us say YES on the powder coating on the coin door...we might have a chance in having it done during production.

Got to say that they did step it up on the Topper. Much better and again game is awesome. Can't wait to see the playfield tommorrow. Will post as soon as it gets put into the game.

I will text Joe a couple items but I really don't think that I will be this bad on this next round and here is why....

1. For the record I was totally in on DICE before it was even announced and for me it was about the extra Money and what they JJP were throwing in and how it was not being released either on the true number before the dead line or what was going in the game and the Jacket and Dinner Powder coating and on and on and on....I get it. But I was in...I came close to cancel...and I do admitt that and I will thank Jen and Joe for helping me along the way...because it did help and the DICE is a homerun and is an amazing game.

2. I like how JJP, is not playing around on the deadline date for ordering...They have set the number to 200 (which is still a good low edition number) and have made it clear. So ur either in or not. I think they will sell all 200 easy.

3. I like how they came with a Collectors Edition almost ready to go...granted the playfield is most likely a day late but should be here before the Expo is done. I am sure that there are going to be some changes but there is really a lot in this edition that is more in the game and details are way above the LE version. To me I can see the value.

4. I love how on the CE version, the Playfield alone is going to totally different and different design to go with the cabinet artwork....SWEET.

5. I know that when I got my DICE I did like the laser etching on the side rails ....but I was like SHIT....no wrap around the buttons and felt that was a missing feature for DICE for sure. I do think we all mentioned it on thread and I hope that maybe our comments were heard and they brought it to this game. It is nice feature and one that I would be shocked if someone complained about having on their game.

6. The topper is definitely a notch up and they have improved on. It goes with the game. I think the back support need a to be more finished and what was here looks to be a black piece of wood cut with rounded corners . It would be nice.to see them make that more of design or feature that is unique. and not just a black square with rounded corners. Maybe throw in some more lighting effects or maybe it does have some sound features like the ocean waves crashing against the ship and lighting strikes ....Maybe wider with something on each side of the bottle to finish off the look of the Topper. Not sure what...just brain storming....but either way...Much Better.

7. I like how there is no mentioned of any Jackets or a dinner....BUT....I will admit a CE Jacket would be pretty awesome for this game. You know, I got to talk to Pat Lawlor for about 7 minutes tonight just him and I talking about how he loves my Richie Wrench character and we talked about the DICE jackets and he went into such great detail how the embroidery of these jackets and how all of it is done and the details. I want to say that I am sorry for bashing the Jacket idea for DICE and I am here to tell all you DICE owners out there you are going to love your jackets. Those are not going to be cheap jackets and it IS a nice feature of the DICE game. I will wear mine with pride...Thanks Pat and JJP team for that feature.

8. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GET THE DAM COIN DOOR POWDER COATED. I pay the extra 250.00 or whatever the cost is....I am sure it is Matt @ Back Alley that is doing it. Just send that man 200 coin doors and call it a day. I mean really....I see the side rails and legs and shooter housing and when I look at the coin door and I like thinking....WTF.....someone missed something here. Again, I am not bashing....but someone please keep pressing the issue on the powder coating on the door.

9. I think a simple or different shooter would be nice...doea not need to be over the top or crazy...but if not...I am sure Modfather will have one ready to go for this game.

What I like is that there is so much details on this game and the game play and code is so deep......just awesome and amazing.

Noway....there is so much more here than on a Batman SuperLE or SuperLE.

I guess I am on a timeout for a bit...trying to give Joe some breathing room...before I start my rants. But really don't have anything to say on this one...I am in and I am glad the Topper is exclusive or at least I think it is for the CE Owners

Now -- I have to ask.....

Who would not like that on their game -- I know there are those out there that do want to have their doors just black and some will even go ahead and change the color no matter what the color is and make it their own unique special game. I know when I get my AFMLE (Green Trim) I am going to have it redone to a special unique color.

But I think this is a good example that the LE or CE's should have the coin doors done -- Add another 250 to the game and call it a day.....

There was a time when those in UPPER MANAGEMENT thought it was a waste of time and money to TRICK out these games and was not taking interest in the powder coating and said it would be a nightmare to have done. Now -- Games are being done -- EXCEPT for the coin doors and I do get it that there is more involved in having these done - So I have been schooled in this process when it comes to the doors.

But let me ask this -- Out of 200 CE Owners -- HOW MANY WOULD SAY NO TO A POWDER COATED COIN DOOR - And At 12,500.00 I would think that there is enough margin in there to have Matt or whoever is doing the powder coating to have these done at that same time as the other parts are being done as well.

I know that if I ever get my way on this -- I would not be satisfied -- because I would also want the leg bolts done as well and then there is the issue on the plain shooter rod and that should be something different as well - but that is why we have those out there that will make those special Mods out there to make us all happy and we can choose which way we want to go so that really most CE Owners will trick out their own game in their own way -- So either way -- I am happy in the quality of the games and enjoy the hobby and most of all I enjoy it most when people come in off the streets and just ask to play the games and to see the young boy and girls come in and their eyes light up when they see these game is all that more special.

Now with all that said -- I promise that if JJP will just powder coat the freakin doors -- I will leave JOE alone at 2:00 am. I have been leaving JOE alone here the last few weeks and promise to give him a break -- But I am about to blast his phone on some comments and ideas that I have.

I like that Idea -- The Coin Door Option

I think that should be something that they can consider for those willing to pay the extra money - It would save us time from having to send it away to someone like Matt @ Back Alley and they are most likely one of the vendors that does this anyway -- So why not -- I know there is some issue on the assembly line but for those of us that would do this option even at 25 percent -- I dont think it would be a nightmare -- JUST BUGS ME

I am for one feels that this could happen and work hard everyday changing toilets and unclogging shitters so that SOMEDAY -- I will open up one of my Collectors Edition Game with a matching coin door. It brings a tear to my eye thinking about that someday this could happen and when that happens, I will feel that I have really accomplish something really special on this planet to keep bugging those on my passion for just to match something that is just inches away from the legs or the lockdown bar and shooter housing.

Will it happen with the POTC CE - OR MAYBE with Toy Story CE or maybe with some other game with some other Company????

That would be nice -- But not going to happen....

It should be a upgrade package -- Or in my opinion be included for those that pay the TOP PRICE for these games.

COME ON JJP AND OTHERS COMPANIES AS WELL -- I am not asking for much here -- Just have the SAME COMPANY that is making the legs, apron and siderails -- Do the Doors as well.

I remember early in my collecting days (which was not that too far back) that you either had a local powder coating company trick out metal or you sent in your parts to be done by someone like Matt with Back Alley -- My point is this --- Companies like Stern, CGC, JJP and others saw that the PowderCoating was something that ALOT of us collectors and those that just play the games for fun - We opting for the powdercoating. So you started to see these companies to do what others did and included it in their LE packages,

Okay -- SO LETS TAKE A LOOK AT THAT -- Back then the price increase was maybe 1000 or so for a LE Package - and your got the powder coating and some other features.

NOW -- ITS LIKE 3500 Plus for the Collectors Edition Package -- I do see value on some of these games and it comes down to what will you pay for your hard earn money. I am just saying that for 12,500.00, and to not do the coin door is just CRAZY -- ESPECIALLY ON THIS ONE -- IT IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE S%!T.

But with that said and with all the love I have for Joe and JJP and other companies as well -- I will pay for the doors to be done. But I will say this -- I think that it does get to a point that where the bubble will bust and that you go too far and to not do things like paying attention to the details, you can loose your customers.

I know that I did a poll and the results were shocking to me on how ALOT do not want to have there doors done.

BUT I WILL SAY THIS -- I BET IF YOU GET ALL 150 TO 200 OF THE COLLECTORS EDITIONS OWNERS TOGETHER IN ONE ROOM AND TAKE THAT SAME POLL.....I BET THE RESULTS WOULD BE WAY DIFFERENT.

IT NEEDS TO BE A OPTION -- ITS NEEDS TO BE AN UPGRADE OPTION. BUT IT NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED FOR THOSE THAT ARE PAYING THE 12,500.00 AND FOR THOSE OF THE LE MODELS ADD IT AS AN UPGRADE MAYBE -- BUT THERE NEEDS TO SOMETHING DONE ON THIS GAME -

First -- THIS IS JUST A PROOF -- NOT A FINISH PRODUCT

My Van is actually a blue color so you wont see the white edges or hindges on the truck. One of the reasons that I got a blue truck so it blends with the wrap better.

Now that I see some of you have mentioned the plate - I will make sure that I make it a point to powder coat that plate. I will do my best on that and want to thank those that have brought that to my attention -- If only others will do that on those coin doors from the factory.

Oh Well -- -- HEY JOE -- Are we getting a dinner for this game. Have not see the invite for the other CE Game?

HELL YEAH.....That should be a given for this game at this price. But I am just now getting caught up on these changes and I am bummed about the changes and it can and has happened in the past...so Inwant to see what happens. REMEMBER EVERYONE....You can always get refund on deposits or move it to another game. I want to see how this plays out.

From my calculations...there is alot of money on the table that is going to be pulled so this is not over yet. But I know there is alot to this game...and JJP is a great manufacturer so I will not comment negative because I don't know as much ...just love to play the games and love the kids playin them at our showroom. But....YES....$12,500.00 IS ALOT FOR A GAME and as CE OWNERS we should be getting the best for our money. I am still in for my #12.....I think there will be some changes...So lets see what happens....BUT I WILL NOT WAIT TILL I OPEN THE BOX TO SEE THOSE CHANGES...Give them a chance and see how they respond to our concerns.

Still waiting on the announcement for us DICE CE owners for their nice fancy dinner for that last game.....To me it's about following thru..but I understand changes...Maybe they revealed it too soon.....but the triple disc was pretty cool. Well...I have always been a big JJP from the start...have them all and looking forward to the next reveal of Toy Story or what ever it will be.

I took something into play from Joe from the past and I know there is alot still in this game and as one of their biggest fans...I am in. I just think this is going to get better as time goes on. Like a friend told me and it does happen...Features do get dropped and changed. Now given...THIS IS A BIG CHANGE...but Indont think it's over yet for us CE OWNERS and there got to be some more to this coming down the road.

But I do think now might be a good time to justify for that powder coating coin door.

Wow...Been Extremely Busy. Going to announce our 2nd Annual Pinball Fest at my office here this weekend and hope all of u that showed last year come again this year...few more new pinball machines and sad to say this one and MBr will not make it by then...but that is okay....It will be there for the 3rd Year.

I think If I just add some dirt and mud to the barnacles
....then that will dull it up so the colors are not so bright and will blend with the lockdown bar. Easy fix...Dirt and water.

Original version is a better match...but it is what it is....

My big issue is that apron.....WTF....but....Its a.great game and we can not get what we all want.....

I have come to learn that therapy has been a big help to me to not get excited anymore. Enjoy the game...Invite ur friends and family over to play and all...and when it's all said and done u can all change what u want to ur own likes and needs.
