Quoted from Psw757:License was for 3 years so unless this happens real soon it ain’t gonna happen.
Didn't know about the 3 year. But really, if they aren't changing things then it should be trivial extending it. Dutch Pinball with their whole nonsense figured something out on TBL. A good part of Disney's business is built on licensing products to manufactures and JJP has the relation and deal already. Personally I do think there will be a special edition coming like Yellow Brick road. Even if its just 50-100 or so. But unfortunately, I'm too think when that does happen then we'd see similar pricing to WOZ release. Maybe they're waiting for those to be sold out so they aren't cannibalizing their high-end sales
Quoted from PinMonk:$20k and $22k have happened for NIB CEs recently, so this isn't that far off from that.
Jack will make more 18 months or so out once he gets GnR and maybe Toy Story out of the way. Too much premium-level money on the table for too good a pin.
I'd imagine they'd pump out a special edition asap and cash in on the price craze sooner than later. How long on Jack's line would it really take to make 100 or 200 more? They'd sell out immediately if announced.
Quoted from PtownPin:I thought there was no way they wouldn't make more, but now I'm really skeptical. I don't think JJP has the cash flow or where with all to even make 100 more games. My guess is they need to pump out games that will start making them money, and allocating resources on Pirates doesn't help that goal.
At $12,500 a pop I don't think cash flow is the problem. $2.5 million for 200 more of a special edition that will sell out pretty much immediately? Yeah I think the money speaks for itself. It took a while for the pin to catch on but I think it finally has. The pirates demand is guaranteed business. GnR they have to earn and sell for a lot less. I think most of us agree its coming, just when. If I were Jack, I'd be pushing them out before going full production on GnR.
Quoted from Vans:Any more rumblings on the possibility of more being made?
Just guesses but if you follow the money, yes (eventually)
Quoted from koops:The market demand has shown otherwise with local nib machines sitting unsold for 12+ months.
Australia has not been representative of the market on this title. Those NIB machines have now since been re-imported to the US. The fact they did sell at the inflated 12k prices proves the market demand.
No expects LE's to go back on the line. If re-made, JJP would make new 11.5-12.5K special edition pirates in limited numbers (Maybe 100). You really think that's a worse idea than an 11.5k Yellow Brick Road Edition the seven year old WOZ? Who was asking for that?
Quoted from bbulkley:What 12K prices?
Look at the current market. Again, any new special edition wouldn't be made to "sell in big numbers." Congrats on getting one. I'd hold on to it too. I think the fact that most owners aren't planning to sell is what has driven the prices up.
Quoted from koops:I’d just hope that it’s finally a jjp machine that retains its value. I know it’s a selfish intention.
You want to make money on a pin, easy. Sell your Pirates right now.
Quoted from PinMonk:TWIP picture's worth a thousand words...

Jack will make more. Whether he knows it right now or not. There's too much sitting on the table.
I'm in the market, as it were.
Where does one find such a chart for the collector's edition? Was this chart self-made?
Quoted from KingBW:WOF still isn't completed. All of that really doesn't matter and isn't a argument.
WOF code isn't complete? Wow, did not know that. I better hold off buying one until Stern finishes the game. It's on my list.
Quoted from LesManley:It's the monkey that comes with this figure...

Great, the price of that set is going up now $100 by Christmas.
Quoted from Happy81724:I’d say the market has officially been flooded with jjp potc lol. 11 in the last couple days

Looks like 14 for sale right now. Who is actually paying that money? There can't be enough buyers to sustain this price.
