New owner of LE here, I’m trying to raise playfield a bit to avoid shooter-plunger overlap (shooter housing already as low as possible). I realize the lockdown metal is a bit loose and maybe low, is there supposed to be a screw at the circled location? EDIT: I tightened up the existing nuts and my problem is mostly fixed.

Also: what spring color is factory/recommended? This one is red and feels very stiff

Where should the Mystery hole shoot to? Mine at default shoots almost perfectly down the drain. I bumped up power a few ticks to hit left flipper. I might need to level my machine better too and revert to default again, but what should I look for it to hit? L? R?

I just did this fix for the misaligned Pearl cannon shot, but would like to note for others that the linked hex spacers aren't the same type as in the machine.
The 2 hex spacers holding the Dauntless on my machine have a threaded end (m-f) with a washer/nut, so the f-f wasn't enough for a replacement -- you need the m-f hex spacer OR you need a new machine screw that can reach through the wood back.

Not having either of those, my fix was to use the original m-f hex spacers AS the machine screws. Clearance seems fine in the back.

Shots are lined up perfectly now!

Is the chest lock shot supposed to be makeable from the left flipper? I don't think I've ever actually made the shot from that side. I've assumed this is by design, but just wanted to check.

Also, does the LE's constellation map subtly depict shots to shoot somehow? I thought I read about this but cannot locate info on it now. I haven't been able to decipher it yet. Thanks!

I actually was asking just from a pure power perspective — mine never gets past halfway up scoop. My settings are default.

And a price?

I’ve sometimes installed right over bolts too and it looked perfect from player position. No interference with operation either.
