I put a deposit on an SE last week. Should be in my house Monday or Tuesday.

Quoted from Alamo_Pin:They were one of the ones I called today. No luck.
I got mine from PinballSTAR two weeks ago. There was one left after mine. Might still be available.
My SE (build date of March)was delivered yesterday. Unfortunately I’ve only had time for a few games. In the meantime, can anyone sum up what I should address before I really start putting games on the machine? So far I have:
1. Cliffys (on order but long lead time)
2. Washer kit. Which is the best? Just go with JJP’s?
3. Cover or grind protruding t-bolt.
4. Center discs. Maybe install quiet kit.
5. Check to make sure screws are tight. Any common problem areas?
6. Lower sling power
Any other suggestions?
Happy Fathers' Day everyone. I have a quick question about a couple of switches that are showing up closed. I just got the game so haven't had a ton of time to play it but would like to fix this issue before some family come over. The two switches are ship hit targets. I believe they are the ones for the dauntless. The one in the whole and the the one for when you hit the ship. I have only shot that shot once in a game so far so a few questions.
Where do I locate the switches?
Should I turn down the cannon coil a little bit?
Thanks!
Quoted from harryhoudini:Anyone interested in a better topper? I've been working on some ideas and they are also lightly integrated with gameplay. It wouldn't be cheap but it would be easy to install and provide some fun interaction.
SE owner here. I’d be interested.
Quoted from bigd1979:I'm just glad I was able to purchase a le 7 month's ago... I paid up alot at the time and glad I did or I probably wld have never owned one. Just hope this new code is released soon so I can enjoy it before i pass it on to a collector friend .
The code is fine as it stands except for the missing wiz mode that 95% of owners will never get to. You were commenting on other threads that you don’t understand the rules. A code update isn’t going to help you understand them any better.
Quoted from harryhoudini:There must be 5-10 actual bugs identified in the code request thread, some which sound like they aren't going to get taken care of in the next release which is sad.

Can you be specific on what these 5-10 bugs are? The page you linked seems to be mostly feature requests. Since there hasn't been an announcement on what the new code update will entail, I'd wait to be disappointed. Unless you are privy to these code updates. Perhaps you are a beta tester?
Quoted from GnarLee:I bet the new owner of your machine that no longer has a warranty would appreciate it.
That would be the honorable thing to do.
Quoted from PinMonk:The only SE I see near you included both the art blades and the chest mod, listed as included but not installed in the ad. And for the kind of money they were asking for an SE you definitely should have received them. Not cool to ghost you over that, but not much you can do except leave bad feedback if they won't respond...
That same ad listed as not sold. So if it is the same game, the guy tried to weasel out of paying a small seller's fee.
Quoted from Dexje:hey pirates ,
i have the chance of getting a NIB SE - is there any good footage of one? I cant really find anything on yt showcasing an SE and I have only played LE versions myself. I would love to see the GI difference in gameplay.
I have an SE. I could probably get you some footage tonight if you need it.
Quoted from wesman:Once Spooky kicks to their next game, will Rick and Morty still get massive code updates? Why would another smaller run game, like POTC be any different?
Yea it will. TNA just got an update a month ago. That was the game before ACNC which also gets updates. Same goes for most games. I think people are demanding because JJP hasn't spoke of POTC in a long time. It feels like they are abandoning it. Fingers crossed that the new location brings along new replacement parts because it's slim pickings right now. Owners just want to feel like they will be supported in the future, that's all.
