Ahoy there landlubbers, me Pirates LE #682 has made port (well the Pinball Shed), and she's a beaut!

I do have a question though and that is regarding sound, as I have 4 JJP machines now the Pirates is the weakest when it comes to bass, am I missing something or is this fair to say?
I did check the cabinet speaker/woofer and sound is coming out of it so its connected, I also checked connectors in the back-box all look fine.

Now the sound is not awful but is lacking in bass and all mid/top end sounding.

Can I just drop in a better 8" sub in the cabinet? Not that one should have to do this on a £10k machine!

My left sling shot is hitting the playfield nut only just, should I nove it back a tad?

Does anyone have an idea when the new Pirates code will come out of beta testing?

Just dying to try it, as not doubt all you salty sea dogs are.

Can someone please explain to me the 'Shot X'.

I get it that you light the pirates lanes with shot x chosen, then you then hit one of the 'times x' standups.

From there can you shot any shot or does it show you 1, 2 or a few shots available? i.e. how do you know which shot to shoot? - what colour does it flash and what is it worth?

Nope I quite like the Escape the locker as a tough one to get.

Just fitted HMS Endeavour mod for JJP Pirates Pinball machine by Liorillusion, its fantastic, such a great mod and far better in real life than expected.

Now that GnR is out, any news on Pirates code?

IMHO Don't put the map hole ones on as you will get rejects. I am having to take mine out as half my hits to the scoop get rejected.

Where is the code update?

Its been ages since it was in beta!

Yeah I know Covid got in the way, but really.

At this rate us Pirates owners will be able to do another April 1st (2022) joke about a new code drop!
