Quoted from Psw757:

Wow...not happy to see that already.
Hopefully cliffy makes something for this!

Yeah that chipping is terrible

GL putting a Cliffy around that hole. I would use thin self adhesive felt that you can cut to protect. The mylar they put down is doing nothing.

#1502 5 years ago
Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Cliffy sells a similar protector for the WOZ wizard kickout, hopefully he comes out for one for the POTC kickout. Still, a protector should have been installed from the factory at this point.

I use the same felt to protect on my Woz, easy to put down, easy to pull up.

PF shouldn't be chipping like that with so few plays

#1510 5 years ago
Quoted from Energyspike:

Do you have a link for the felt (where to purchase)? Thanks

Hobby Lobby or Michaels. $1 per 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. I use it in the shooter lane as well.

Quoted from Yelobird:

Well then your in Luck!! You can buy your sexy pirate on Ebay for only $23 and attach her as I illustrated with Davy Jones! lol DO please share pics of your completed upgrade!!!
[quoted image]

This would be 100% must have for me

Quoted from KornFreak28:

Thank you both. To me, it seems that POTC is a much deeper game than MBr

The movies suck, the last 4 anyhow. MBr is what it is. And its freaking gorgeous one of the best of all time pins.

If you want deep, go with POTC. Fun? I don't know, MBr is awesome.

Well, I'm gonna roll the "liars dice" and hope for minimal problems out of box.

I was in day one on a CE, then out, now going back in based on the streams, feedback and what i see.

#4358 5 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

You won’t regret it. The game is absolutely amazing. If you do have problems out of the box almost all are self fixable. http://tinyurl.com/potcfixes

You guys have done a phenomenal job of documenting any issues. Its what i'd expect of this great community.

#4534 5 years ago
Quoted from DylanFan71:

At least you didn’t spend $3k more to get it for free....

Wait what?! You get a free manual with the CE? Man i knew i made the right choice

I'm getting excited about joining in the fun with you guys!

Congrats Panzer

#4795 5 years ago

I'm expecting issues and hoping for the best. I don't really care, can't be any worse than my last two Stern pins, and i still love them (except IMDM).

JJP is wisely moving on to a monster sellers in Wonka, GNR and Toy Story and then hopefully Harry Potter. That's gonna take a lot of up front $$ for the license.

Look to the future, no need to lament no more POTC games being produced. JJP needs to turn the corner in multiple game output so they can "staff up", especially on the line, so the quality control can get better all around.

REALLY excited for my POTC!

Who cares what Kman thinks about a game

He is in the overwhelming minority on Potc.

It’s too complicated for him to understand

#4964 5 years ago
Quoted from wesman:

I care because he seems passionate, articulate, and able to create a good flow of words, ideas, and do with a sense of pizazz and showmanship that I haven't heard in other pinball podcast avenues. He has a necessary sense of style and "voice".

In other words he's "full of shit"

He's entitled to his opinion. He did play it for 3 hours yesterday.

#5111 5 years ago
Quoted from KornFreak28:

I better just wait and play yours at the TPF

Jump on in Korndoggie, you will love it!

Zaph, why do you have a CA address if you live in Frisco?

#5114 5 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

Permanent home/gameroom in TX, crash pad for work in CA. Wife and I take turns traveling back and forth.

Hmmm. I'd put the ole Texas address on your Pinside profile but that's just me

GREAT job on spending so much time helping out with this pin. Lloyd is fantastic and i know he can use some help!

#5116 5 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

Heh. CA is where I am most of the time. I’m happy to help other people enjoy this great game, I’m passionate about things I really like!

I hope you don't tell the IRS that

#5190 5 years ago
Quoted from Coindropper:

Anyone seen this before? Just had this delivered on 3/2 and it’s splitting. Should I reach out to JJP direct? Pics were not very good, the clear is pulling up where it’s splitting and 1/2” under. [quoted image][quoted image]

Yeah that's not ideal. I'd just call JJP direct.

#5248 5 years ago

I appreciate the input and dedication Zaph.

But when i get my game I'm going load the balls in there, fire it up and start flipping. And then see where it goes!

Any problems? I'll refer back to the great reference guide you guys have done!

Quoted from GCS2000:

I have the red one and it is set to a slow flash. Kinda mimics a heartbeat. Looks really good and my son loves it.

I went with the gold. It’s a gold chest after all

#5718 5 years ago
Quoted from tonycip:

.
I would want it to be interactive so when a ball is ready to be locked the chests glows red..

Lermods has some cool stuff. I added the trough light, a bunch of Munsters stuff and the GB ecto car

#13492 4 years ago
Quoted from f3honda4me:

I wish I still had mine. If they made more I'd buy one NIB in a heartbeat.

Your gonna be saying the same thing about that JP premium Honda

#13493 4 years ago

JJP needs to MOVE ON and try and stick to a schedule of making games.

Announce, then ship, announce, then ship etc. “keep the line moving”

I’m still waiting on my Wonka CE. Paid for in April? Can’t even remember now

I won’t be doing that again.

What’s gonna happen next time with GNR or Toy Story? My FOMO train with JJP went off the rails and is burning in the ditch!
