I have a CE that is NIB that I will be putting up for sale. It was costly, as I paid a fairly significant premium to acquire a new one domestically, plus sales tax, plus shipping, etc. Please message me if you have any interest. My apologies in advance if this communication should be in the "Market" instead of the "Forum." I don't want to violate any Pinside regulations or especially the etiquette of this Forum.

Quoted from PtownPin:

why would you pay a premium + tax for a game you had no interest in playing?

Change of heart. Once I bought it, I decided it was too costly to keep. I would have been better off looking at a couple core games (like TZ, AF, IJ) that I don't have and would enjoy owning.

I have a NIB CE. Maybe the last one. Or not.

Question about my POTC LE. The "chest" and "load" lights are never lit in front of the chest. Any shot into the chest holds the ball for Dead man's Chest multi-ball. Its too easy as nothing is needed to qualify it.

Any idea how I can fix this? Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Ordered a set of cliffys before looking at the videos and photos on this string. Installing Tortuga hole protector looks complicated.

Map hole? Frightening. I probably would need to hire a local tech if I wanted to get the ship off and on.

I would like to keep the game long term. Worth it? Thanks for your opinions.

The answer to additional code seems clear. It is not worth the investment, at least the immediate investment, for just 1000 units. The fact that LEs now sell for nearly 15 probably also signals the company that the market is satisfied with the existing code.

Now, if they could just do something to make it easier for me to hit the Maelstrom ramp....

Quoted from Yelobird:

Try hiking up your skirt a bit more Dan lol. Glad you found a game. Wizard mode or not I Love this game!!!

I did, though technically I am still in the market for a one-of-a-kind prototype with three spinning disks...

Man that gold powder coat is nice. Well done.

Now for the coin door!!

Sorry to be so late to the party on this issue, but...

What is missing from the code that would make this game a more pleasurable experience for 99% of the owners?

So, wasted way too much yesterday looking at Mandalorian. Looks like a Stern and probably fun to play.

That said, I have concluded, in my extremely humble opinion, that PotC may be the high water mark for pinball. At least for the foreseeable future.

If it had a few movie clips with the actors, I don't see how it could even be debated.

Quoted from paulbaptiste:

I concur. I looked at the videos last night and I'm just not interested. Whatever JJP does next though, I'm all in.
I'm new to POTC ownership so haven't owned it long enough to really know the code yet or notice it's incomplete, but aesthetically this game is simply on another level. I'm still working out the bugs in mine but feel incredibly grateful to own one.

Not sure how much more code PocT really needs.

Listen to the Dwight interview, for example, and try to get excited about Mando. When asked about code, he gushed about Mando's three multipliers, and when you get all three you get 5x playfield. Cause that's what we want the most. Is to stack playfield multipliers. Other thing he mentioned was "impossible mode." Because that what most home buyers want. A setting that takes an inherently difficult game and shortens your ball time to 15 seconds.

Pirates, with its 5 multiballs, chapters, etc., is fantastically coded even if it never gets an update or a final wizard mode.

Anyone have a suggestion where to get a set of LE decals. Regular or radcal? Or if this is even possible at this point?

Thank you.

#17062 2 years ago

I think those are playfield.

Looking for cab

#17089 2 years ago

Anybody have a set of radcals for the le backbox or front they would sell?

Probably a long shot.

Thanks!

Do owners need to be authorized beta testers to acquire B4 ?

#18049 1 year ago

How hard could it be to code a final wizard mode. Find a graphic, hit all 5 movie shots two or three times. Maybe sink the Queen Anne one last time. Game over.

Have some parts for sale. Or would trade for other POTC parts (ramps, etc.). These include:

One NOS LE playfield.

A full set of LE decals.

Left and right side cab LE Radcals.

Let me know if you are interested.

BTW -- for those waiting for the new CE playfields, they are finally in stock. Never gave up hope!

A sign that the code will be finished.
