Here’s hoping they’re still making LEs, because I’m in for one. All the streams have convinced me!

So, I did have issues.
Shooter rod was hitting the auto plunger. Adjusted both and the height of the playfield, no longer a problem but there’s already a nick in my rubber shooter tip (nbd).
Chest was releasing two balls at a time sometimes in a multiplayer game. I adjusted the release, haven’t seen it since, but I’m keeping an eye on it.
My monitor was crooked, got that sorted out. It’s awkward to adjust though.
Quoted from Lambow:My monitor sags down on the right side below the glass window. was that the problem you had? What did you adjust, I tried reposition (4 tiny screws) where the monitor where it attaches to the arm, but their not enough adjustment there.
That was exactly my issue. I adjusted it all the way up, tightened the screws on the sagging side, and then pushed down on the other side to get it to even out to tighten the other side. It took me a couple of tries.
What was the recommended “Sticky Button” fix? Is there one? The Switch works fine, but the button physically binds. Lube? If so, what kind?
The fork for my chest stopped working. I look inside and find an assortment of parts. I can see what it’s supposed to do, but so far I’m missing the little metal tube that goes in the plastic tube that fits inside the washer (which is also missing).
Really questioning how some of these mechs are built. I still have shooter rod problems, even with adjustment, the top of the rubber clips the auto plunger fork. And the auto plunger seems to barely be able to get the ball around cleanly. Guess I’ll keep working on it instead of playing.

Looks like the entire mech should drop out with 5 screws. Part, 17, 27, and 28 appear to those you found. There's 4 sets total for the mech, the others or any missing part could still be attached or laying somewhere on the assembly.

Yep, already fixed. I appreciate the help though. Just annoying. Hoping for no issues for awhile.
Does anyone else’s topper flicker a bit? Trying to decide if that’s normal, or it’s not getting consistent power..
Quoted from philsublime:So I have everything dialed in. One thing I'm not sure whether it's right or not is the Devils Triangle exit. The ball goes to the top of the left slingshot and bounces to the right slingshot. Kind of hard to control... Is this supposed to be that way or should it feed to the left flipper?
It should feed to the left flipper.
My kids, 9 and 6, spend a good two hours yesterday playing head to head games. They loved getting their pictures taken, and you should see their eyes light up when they got a multiball or managed to shoot the cannon. It was amazing to watch. What a great game!
The issues I consistently run into is too many balls get caught in The Depths during multiballs. No matter what power I have the VUK coil set at, it can’t deal with it. It’s like a ton of balls line up in there through various avenues and all sit there because of animations playing.
Quoted from zaphX:Duplicated this on the potcfixes page but originaled from pinballpal here:

Apparently JJP is now shipping with this fix so I guess it is now more or less official.
Interesting! I have a really recent build, I’ll have to see if this is already in there.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Just curious, what is your build date? Have an LE coming and wondering if I'll need to do this as well.
Mine was built in early February. It has the fix, though doesn’t seem to be working. I wonder if I need to ramp the angle up more or do something else. Only two balls got stuck in there earlier, and my kickout is strong enough. It’s like they’re getting stuck and not getting into position correctly.
I’m still having Depths kickout problems. The fix isn’t working. Even as few as two balls in there cause problems. Looks like I’m going to have to try and narrow it or offset it somehow so the balls don’t wedge in there.
The wizard modes need more polish, fanfare, explanation, etc. Make them a big deal! Give me those showstopping moments! Like Killing Smaug is on The Hobbit.
Quoted from KingPinGames:Yes. Try this first. If it is still hitting the auto plunger, then loosen the bottom more, place a washer (or two) between the cabinet and the shooter rod assembly and tighten. This will cause the tip of the shooter rod to be at a slight downward angle.
This is what I had to do. Worked well.
Love the game and continue to be incredibly disappointed with the QA. Who thought it a good idea to ship a pin out the door with the shooter rod hitting the automatic plunger. AND not being able to lower the plunger enough that it doesn’t hit it? I’ve tried double stacking washers to angle it down, guess I’ll do three. How was this not QA’d? It’s only essential to the game to get the ball into play.
Quoted from GCS2000:One washer has fixed mine fine so far. I will tell you I placed it on the outside of the cab under the shooter cover on the bottom. You cannot see the washer unless you get on the ground and look up underneath. I assume you placed yours theirs as well but if you need more than 1 your shooter rod must be way off or worse, bent. Once I did this all my plunger issues were gone.
I do agree that this is terrible QC with respect to the plunger assembly.
One other suggestion and one that I saw when I had it all apart was to get a dremel and dremel out the bottom portion of the triangle cut out a little deeper that should allow you to move the entire assembly down some more and keep a factory look as it would be covered by the housing and inside plate. Shouldn't have to do this at all of course. Also I am not 100% positive as I did not take out a tape measure or anything but my cutout sure looked like it was crooked.
The rod isn’t bent, the whole thing is just drilled out way, way too high. A single manual plunge at the factory would’ve shown this issue immediately. Disappointing.
100% agree on these. I hope someone is paying attention. Along with a lot more polish on the wizard modes, this would make this game absolutely amazing.
Quoted from zaphX:I agree. I think MGC will be all about Wonka and I for one can’t wait.
I still love pirates though and eagerly await fixes. Some of the main ones I want to see:
1. Chest lock fix
2. Don’t give/announce map awards until after the animation
3. Lock in character select immediately on plunge (newbs who don’t use the action button sometimes get unexpected characters)
As a nice to have, I’d like to see the color scheme on movie 5 to be more purple and less blue. It doesn’t match the inserts and it is sometimes confusing to tell if I’m in movie 4 or 5 chapters. (Just me?)
