Want your Jersey Jack Pinball Slingshot to have more power? This mod will do exactly that!!! Here is a video showing it working on default slingshot power in the menu so you can go higher but I did adjust it to be set at default setting. Very easy install just desolder slingshot wires and put module in the circuit. Input is the wires from the game output to the coil. Kit comes with two black boxes to do two slingshot.

Yeah I can’t imagine it’s a very updated version of the code. Buy if you want a piece of history, but I can’t imagine it will play well.

It plays good.
Easy to go to the jjp site and check downloads for Pirates and study the change log back to the beginning to find out what is missing.
No where near as bad as prototype WOZ's that couldn't be updated.

Have some parts for sale. Or would trade for other POTC parts (ramps, etc.). These include:
One NOS LE playfield.
A full set of LE decals.
Left and right side cab LE Radcals.
Let me know if you are interested.
BTW -- for those waiting for the new CE playfields, they are finally in stock. Never gave up hope!

I recall there is a setting in the game settings to control the amount of flicker for the topper. You should be able to adjust how much it flickers

I did go into game settings and I did notice the setting for topper brightness and there is a notation saying the lower the setting it may cause flickering. So is the flickering intentional? The way it acts doesn’t seem intentional. Almost like when other things are happening it loses power causing it to flicker.
Well, my kids want me to sell all my games and just get a pirates 
....no, of course was my answer, but I would trade a couple of em if anyone is getting tired of their pirates and wanting to try something different. Feel free to check out my collection and let me know if you're interested in any trades+/- cash. Thank you

Yeah, the lower settings flicker, if I recall. Haven’t powered my POTC on in years as I’m still waiting for code LOL. Someone else here familiar with the settings can probably provide a clear answer. Worst case, you need a new topper LED strip from JJP. They are fragile and I had to replace mine once

There was a standard on Facebook for 12G that was routed somewhere. Sorry I don't have more specifics but somebody else might know more
Just enjoyed again what has to be the most SATISFYING Pirates shot!
Nailing the left chest stand up target AND locking a ball in the chest to boot.
Soooo ... pleasurable!
And efficient. ARRR!
This game always calls me back. Even after getting other new and exciting pins along the way, I'm back to pressing the start button on Pirates within a week. It could only have been made during that window of time when the design philosophy was still 'more is more'. The mechs make it a standout, but the audio, lighting, artwork, and shot variety all help create a perfect storm that keeps me thinking about it even when I am not playing. I'll keep this game for as long as I am collecting pins.

Does anyone have a problem with balls getting stuck in the left subway ("The Depths")? What did you do to address it?
When I have multi-ball going, there is a tendency for 2 or more balls to be there at once. I've turned up the coil power, but that doesn't always work (and actually makes shots harder as it rockets a single ball from the subway).

Did later games have this fix from the factory? I believe my game has this fix since I almost never get balls stuck in The Depths. I seem to remember a post there but it was black. Only time I've been into that area was to clean the subways.

I have no idea if JJP did anything official to ‘fix’ this issue. I know that 4 years ago, there were enough of us that applied the ‘fix’ and that was basically the end of it. JJP certainly didn’t address it w/ any sort of code update.

I'm glad Jack finally put this to rest. Personally I'm not planning on selling, but Pirates is definitely the most valuable pin in my collection.
I’m glad I didn’t sell mine. As a matter of fact I never even considered it, code or no final code. The game is very well rounded. We are sorry for your loss

I have a CE with the official topper, but also got that one from Europe with the video screen on the back. Can anyone w/ CE comment who did the swap was it worth the swap?
