Yup, here are the combos that need to be completed. I've also got there by gambling treasures in Liar's Dice. A 50k pt. jackpot lights at the Tortuga saucer, and loop shots increase the jackpot value before it's collected. A nice bit of risk and reward.

By chance can a CE owner post a video of their topper in action with a closeup of the motor and the mechanics? I think I'm going to give it a try on replicating it using LTG's awesome idea! The manual helps but a visual will really big help

Small question, I hesitate to buy a shaker motor for my SE. when does it engage in the game? Is it interesting to have one on potc?

I think it's a great addition, we have a set of pin stadiums with the UV connected to the shaker and the game is next level. It activates on jackpots and a few other times I can't remember.

The one time the shaker should activate, destroying the Dauntless, it does nothing. Very disappointing and a real let down considering this game appears to have been abandoned by JJP.

Since Willy Wonka received the update yesterday, all the (higher selling) games have gotten the WiFi update. This leaves only Pirates. Hopefully we will see an update in September.
I have not lost hope.

On the Telegram app, it's been stated several times that "all games will receive the update". So I'm holding out a tiny sliver of hope too. I keep thinking of how Hobbit got it's massive update so long after development seemed to have stopped. That huge update gave me a lot of faith and hope in JJP and kept me buying their games. Let's hope they can pull it off again with POTC.

Sorry, my bad, it seems like Hobbit is still missing the update, after that one, we are next.

Why am I not surprised that all of the other JJP games would receive this update before POTC? I sure hope it does end up coming. I don't fully understand why JJP treats this title like it's cursed. 1,000 units is still more than Spooky or AP has sold of any of their past titles.

Someone was asking about a ship in a bottle, when I moved my Pirates into the corner where the roof is recessed lower I took off the factory topper and put this guy up there with a color changer strip on slow fade. Obviously it’s no CE!(; but it’s a black pirate ship in a bottle with a wooden base and that’s good enough for ourrrrrr pad

Has anyone else experienced problems with the settings for Plunder? I have my game set to Plunder Items=1, which from everything I have read should mean that only gold can be plundered. Still, in some recent multiplayer games, people are getting the option to steal points, balls and characters too. I have thought about disabling plundering altogether, but I think it's a fun feature when the consequences aren't too punishing. In fact, I have the Plunder Level set to Cutthroat, so that plundering occurs frequently. Anyone else run into this issue?

I have owned my POTC now for a while, and figured it was time to change the game rules and make it tougher. So I reset the high scores.

I find that the game frequently does not take my picture, but uses an old one. Is there anyway to remove all the old photos? I thought I read it once, but a search turns up nothing.

One thing I changed on mine early on was needing 100 gold instead of 50 for tortuga mb. I felt it was too easy to get to 50 gold and this change helped with the mb vs single ball balance nicely. Just an idea.

At this rate us Pirates owners will be able to do another April 1st (2022) joke about a new code drop!

I was playing my POTC LE tonight and during play this came rolling down the playfield from what seemed to be around the chest area. Kind of worries me - looks like a bearing.
Any ideas where it came from? T.I.A.

Wondering how much interest there are in our apron magnets. We are out of two of the designs and I've had a few requests to get them printed again. Since we have to meet a minimum order I was hesitant but if there is enough interest I would place an order. The Davy and dark blue Skeleton ones are the magnets we are out of. We are also out of Davy decals so if you want a Davy version this would be the time to speak up. I don't think we'll order decals again since the magnets are, by far, the most popular. Just to tell you how much I love this game. I've had it for 6 months now and the more time goes by the more I love it. The parts are never the same, not so simple but so satisfying when the assistant modes have succeeded. One day I succeed in some missions, the next day in others, I never tire of them. On the other hand I do not know about you but the most complicated for me is to chain the super jackpot of the black pearl. I managed 7 and obviously I did not manage to reach the assistant mode that day

Edited original response - that looks like an RGB board not an opto. The optos are in a black plastic assembly with the metal spinner arm in the middle.

To fix it, the brown/blue wire should go on the pad marked "B".

Youtube has lots of short how to videos. Practice on wire or something else before tackling your board. A few minutes of practice and you'll be a pro.

I managed to solder it. It works but then the aesthetic is not the best !! There is still a bit of work to be done to become a pro . Last question and I don't bother you anymore: is the attached photo attachment mandatory for the protection of the game? I just saw it broke. I imagine that it is there to prevent that when the ball is ejected it hits against the mini plate? Or is it just some anti-return?

For protection, no.

Stops the ball from going off the back of the black pearl and going down into the VUK, with it in the balls goes to the main playfield instead of being launched again.

If you have not already, it is recommended to go into coil settings and turn down the power to the upkicker to the Black Pearl. The default is way too strong.

You were right, I just saw that it even broke my pearl window mod !! I have set the bullet ejection power to 15 instead of 32 and it works great. If anyone has this mod, I advise you to do the tuning quickly.

Hello, my newly acquired Potc se has a funny signature on it, I can guess « jersey jack » ? Is this normal? Does it ring a bell to anyone? A signature event on a pinball show?

Was fortunate to be able to join the club!! Just got my armor back from powder coating and waiting on my Mod couple and mezel orders! I have to admit the first few days of ownership I was a little regretful, but once i really learned the rules wow did this game explode with fun!!

I did some maintenance on my POTC - adjusted Tortuga, changed the rubbers in chapter select - and fell in love with it again after playing it.

I was considering selling it but I don't know now. There is such a rush working on building the 6 MB stack!

I wonder why everyone loves the 6MB POTC stack and whines "too many multiballs" for the 4MB stack on Guns?
