I have 3 sheets of this on 3 different pins. It reduces glare greatly from the backglass/dmd and is almost completely invisible in the lower half of the playfield as long as you keep it free of dust and fingerprints.

P.S. I bought them during the black friday sale and though they were still ridiculously expensive after shipping all the way to Canada, they are a massive upgrade to your playing experience.

    Quoted from DarkWizard:

These 2 accounts make it hard to decide.

Neo is wrong... for whatever reason he is exaggerating. Take into account the other people saying how good it is. When the pin is turned off (no DMD/backglass lighting) I have literally had people come over and not play my machine (and in one case jam his fingers) because they thought the glass was off and i was cleaning it or working on it.

I'd love some but us Canadians can't afford anything right now

Ditto. Exchange rate is keeping me from ordering, have a friend who wants one and I could take another sheet for my CFTBL.

Placebo effect says that if you spend $300 on a piece of glass, it is going to be better.
Same as if you spend $10,000 on a Rolex, it'll tell better time than a $100 G-Shock. (Cough cough...)
I have been putting new "normal" toughened glass sheets on a lot of my games, and jeeeeeezus a new piece of any glass is a huge improvement on an old sheet of glass.
I have a few friends with WOZ LEs and honestly, I can't see a difference (in their rooms) between a new Stern with new standard glass and the Woz with IG.
    FWIW.
    rd.

I can't even believe you're serious. The difference it makes in my games is so obvious I have to think you guys are trolling. I'm talking NIB ST pro and MET. Maybe you never turn any lights on in your game room I don't know, but I honestly can't figure out how you can compare regular and invisiglass.

It has nothing to do with how much you spend on it, people who have no idea what invisiglass is have literally slammed their hand into it thinking there wasn't any glass on the machine...

Maybe you like your brand new normal sheets of glass, but man... it doesn't compare.

Serious question here. Would plexi do this? I've heard that good quality plexi (once polished) is clearer than glass (came from a custom aquarium builder). I wonder what it's glare factor would be and how it would work in a pinball machine

Pretty sure plexi glass would just get super dinged up and can't be repaired. Just judging from the stuff i see at hockey rinks...

I haven't seen anyone from this thread post a picture of the same machine with standard glass and the reflections reduction glass. I think the biggest difference people are seeing is as a result of NEW glass.

Gotta love somebody who has never seen something telling 19/20 people who agree it is a massive improvement (are willing to pay big money for more and are happy with the product) that they must be mistaken.

Yeah, you really think i like just throwing 3-400 bucks away on a product that may or may not have made a slight difference but i'm not sure? WTH man, listen to yourself and give your head a shake. Look at the thumbs down for neo. I have honestly never seen a product with this much consensus but somehow there's always weird people on pinside who will point at a cloud and tell you the sky is missing.

Any why do you gotta be such assholes? I wasn't rude, I didn't call anyone a liar, I came and provided a theory on why someone might think that the invisiglass appeared clearer than normal glass. What difference does it make how many pins someone has? Your elitist opinion matters more because you have more pinball machine?

It's very frustrating to have somebody "helpfully" enter a debate with no knowledge of the item in question and put forth a theory. The following example might shed some light on why we got snippy with you.

Somebody walks into a circle of 20 people looking down into a pool. 18 people clearly see there is a red circle at the bottom of the pool. One person says there is a green circle at the bottom of the pool; he declares all of the other people are wrong, and there isn't a difference between red and green anyway. One person kinda scratches his beard and says "Yeah, i dunno, there could be a red circle down there but the pool is pretty hazy and i can see how one would think there is a greenish tint to the circle."

Deciding to be super helpful, as he likes to do, guy 21 oh so helpfully says "Well I don't really know what red is, because i've never seen colors before. But maybe circles just always look red until your eyes adjust to them."

You are that guy in this conversation. About the elitist comment I don't know where you even saw me talking about how many pins people own. I'm usually just excited if somebody owns one.

    Quoted from sammiesguys:

Thanks. I'll just contact them directly and get it worked out.

They only ship 2 sheets per box max anyway so it would come as 2 sheets of standard in one box and 1 sheet widebody in another I think.

Basing this on the fact that i ordered 3 sheets standard and i got 2 sheets in 1 box and 1 sheet in another shipped separately.
