Quoted from CosmoConstant:

What brand pinball machine is the best quality? Who’s machines brake the most? I’m interested to know who has a better quality pinball machine, Stern or Jersey Jack?

Out of all the machines I've owned none have really given me any major issues. Owned a WOZ, playfield seemed fine, game never have me any serious issues, just some NIB tweaks. Same with my Wonka and Hobbit, no major issues to report, they've both been nearly flawless. I've had to fix flipper transistor issues on Stern and also the crap coil stops. My Star Trek has needed some tweaking on the drop target.

I can say that the JJP machines are extremely heavy and the Sterns feel light as a feather by comparison. Doesn't necessarily mean anything other than I think JJP loads up their machines with more mechs and stuff. Looking under the playfield on my Hobbit gives me anxiety LOL , there is so much stuff packed into it with all the pop ups and drop target banks.
