Quoted from PanzerFreak:Interested to hear what you think about Scooby Doo as some early gameplay reviews are terrible. Most Spooky games just don't seem to play well. There's something to be said about hiring an experienced pinball designer to work on a game.
While I only have Halloween I do find it a bit comical, and sad, that every title Spooky does this community treats it the EXACT same way... It's like no matter what Spooky tries to do some people here just have decided what they're going to decide to hell with reality, especially if it doesn't fit their narrative...
There's something to be said about not always, constantly, buying into the same narrative you read on the internet and actually experience the game/world for yourself...
Quoted from Ty-Arnold:Amazingly horrible. Not another kid theme.
LOL... Um... Hate to break it to you but Harry Potter (and I haven't seen a single one or read a single book in the series) is wildly popular globally with both children AND adults... To call it "another kid theme" is a bit ridiculous... The video game that was just released is already, IIRC, a top all time selling release... Like Harry Potter or not, it's a cash printing machine and since business generally exist to make money, this seems like a stupid easy way to make it...
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Yeah I know it shoots great, what a surprise.
That's not my experience but so what? It's a shit game all the way around from the theme to the shots to the constant ball ping pong off the slings. But again, SO WHAT???? I don't have to like the game for you to like it although I do find it bizarre you opened a thread to tell the world about it but again, to each their own... What happened to the days where you could like something I didn't like and I could like something you didn't like and NO ONE FREAKING CARED...???
Honestly if I owned the license I'd sit on it until the market was in a downturn, like what's about to happen, and spring it when sales are lagging the most. HP is one of the few themes that'll sell bonkers in any economy... Hold it until you need it, that's what I'd do. That is of course unless it has a time limit then that's a completely different conversation.
