Stern got the jump on both AP and JJP.
Again!

Quoted from Rarehero:Eric’s designs are interesting, but I don’t think they’re fun so far. Maybe it’s the software that lets them down, and I’ve always been a Keith code fan. The JJP games have gone from too complex for their own good to too newb coddling - and the slot machine sound design of all the post-Thiel games drags the experience down even more.
What fam/friends like isn’t going to affect what I like. When my friends/fam play R&M, it’s launch-drain-launch-drain-launch-drain. Terrible game for casuals and newbs. I love the challenge & can blow the game up, so it works for me.
What put me off buying GrR is not being able to go straight into a song.
Not a fan of having to waste time just to start a song.
Shame, as it really rocks when you go into the songs.
Quoted from Rarehero:Same. When you hit start on a music pin, you wanna hear an iconic riff as you hit start. DE GnR blasts you into play with Welcome to the Jungle, it’s awesome. I know Slash did the original music before you start a song, but it’s unfamiliar & generic sounding. I felt desperation to start a mode just to make the shitty music stop & get some GnR going.
Yeah, I have watched casual players and they never ever even get to start a song, due to not keeping ball in play enough, and/or not understanding all the requirements.
I was moments away from buying one, but I couldn't overcome this part of the coding.
