Im waiting for my GNR LE so for now I decide to sculpt my own creation to this game with the most details.

I decide to start with the action button, I must say this part is one of my most challenging part to paint, its take many hours to paint one! I sculpt it with much details as I can as always and I really like the results.

The model is the final one but the painting is just prototype. I will repaint it when I will get my machine so I will make sure its fit perfect to the colors in the game.

This is NOT 3D printed its all made by hand and it’s a resin cast from silicone mold.

good question. i will NEVER use gloss clear coat to my products i really hate it because it makes the product look cheap and not realistic. what you see its with clear coat.
we are using special matt clear coat as used for cars and high quality figures its dual component clear coat and have 95%-100% matt finish.
the guns also have some minor gloss clear coat to give it a metallic effect.

but if my costumer ask for gloss clear coat he his welcome to get it without any extra charges but i really not recommend it

this mod must be seen in person its have much details thats hard to see in photos.

im getting many request for toppers so yes im already working on topper and i was working on that before JJP reveal the game so its will be out soon and my target price will be under 1000$ but very limited and special topper! i really recommend to wait!

starting production of the sculpted buttons in Monday. i got LE apron and bar so i can blend the colors better. will post all photos and update in this thread soon.

To be honest, I really recommend that. Many of my friends and costumers did.

you can read my first post. its a cast by smooth on resins.
its NOT 3d printed. 100% made by hand and with silicone molds.

I’m very excited to share my new creation for GNR.

I did a lot of research about all skulls that Guns N’ Roses uses and I made my own combination and I added to it a lot of details and I’m very happy with the results! So far it’s my most detailed mod and SUPER challenging to paint and it takes few hours to paint one! The snake is special rubber paint that’s have real skin finish and its looks so real!

This is NOT 3D printed. It’s all made by hand and it’s a resin cast from a silicone mold.

It will fit with all shooters and doesn’t change the game play

Production update.

the molds for the sculpted button will be ready this week and we will start cast in few days. we have few more molds to do so we can cast them faster.
we order more silicone and resin for the skull and for more button runs. all should be here very soon.

we are now working on production of pre orders on POTC, Hobbit and JP. we will try to finish all orders for this games this month and to make some extra in stock. and after we will work 100% on GNR also on my next mods and the topper.

in the same time me and more workers will work on casting buttons and skulls and i also got more help and workers so we will try to make it as soon as we can and still to deliver a quality work.

i already order all gifts and packing and they will be here in 3-4 weeks.

because we double the work and the production line we will try to do our best and to ship the first runs to Europe next month! so you can get it with the same time you get the machine or few weeks later so make sure to book place with Anita

production update.

we are casting buttons and we will start sanding and painting around the end of the month. we want to cast all orders first.
right after the button casting we will cast the skulls and we will start painting.
my goal is to ship the first run of the buttons next month!

we are moving to a bigger studio....
we have few small machines for casting and we just bought 2 Renishaw vacuum castings machines and each one is almost in size of room and our studio entry is too small and its cant fit so we are moving to a bigger studio and the quality of the products will be 1000 times better! this will make also the production faster.
we will still do production during the moving so there will be no delays but i will be less available here in pinside and Facebook for updates.

we will finish all orders + stock for other mods to other game until the end of the month so we will be free to work only on GNR and also we can now do the JP T-REX with the new machines on same time.

all of the special packages should be here next week!

we will not take orders to the toppers until all orders is shipped!

we are doing our best to ship all in time and still deliver quality work. thats the reason we bought more tools and moving to bigger studio.

we are still moving to the new studio but still working on production. next week or week after we will ship the first few sets to costumers thats on the first run and are able to test it on the game and can take photos. if you already have game please send me message and you will be one of the first shipping's. after i will get feedbacks i will ship the first. from December 10 we will finally be in the new studios and with the new machines.
with the new machine we can make around 500 - 1000 pieces per month but we still need to paint them and to sand them and do all testing. but soon very soon after this 2 GNR mods and the JP T-REX we will be a big team on the new studio and the plan is to make 150-300 painted pieces per month.

yes. my friend test it on his own game and we decide the change to colors a little and also the clear coat progress to match it better to the look and colors of the game and cabinet.

SHAME on me and on my prototype!
im always posting photos of the prototype same as i made with the skull with potc LCD and the HMS and my OZ lanes. i must be honest and say prototypes not looking good as the production one. we always do 15 as test before production and we throw them away after testing. we make it to test how to make the production right and how to cast it right and how to paint it right and on the prototype im not doing it so thats why the production looks so good!

so here is example of how bad the prototype looks compare to the production one.
i must update all my photos ASAP to the production pieces LOL

Many people asking me if the mods can be shipped together with the coming topper. the answer is NO
the topper have his own Styrofoam case with maybe wooden box. there is no place to ship other mods with it.
topper is fully sculpted. nothing is flat or acrylic art its 100% sculpts.

First run shipping is closed. If you are getting your machine next month please let me know and i will make sure you will get the mods next month.
Until the end of the month we will ship 40 sets. 25 to customers and 15 to Freddy's pinball paradise in Europe.
We are going to ship 100 sets each month and my goal is to finish all orders until March.

Topper sculpt is already in production for the sculpt only. When i will get the game i will work on the leds and on the effects.

Because 20% of the long spring goes inside the round knob and on the flat one its not. Check the spring on the round knob and you will see it. Its not changing anything with the gameplay

next run we will ship ONLY the sculpted buttons. the workers that painting the skulls are not working in the studio for those two weeks because of quarantine. and i don't want to send to people different product, quality is in the top priority. month after we will ship 50 - 100 sets.

its very hard to work right now in the lockdown but we are doing our best.

There is few people who asking me when they will get the mods. as i said 2-4 months from when you place the order.
from Friday our lockdown got worse and there is no way to go to the studio or to go to my workers all is shut down so this month there is no production and no shipping's so all will be delayed by 1 month. i have few skulls at home and workers toke some buttons to paint at home so we still working on the next run but we cant clear coat them because we do this only in the studio. also we cant cast at home because we are using a big and professional machine to do it in our studio.

next run (February) we will ship around 50-100 buttons only to distributors and to people who bought just the button.
we will also ship 15 skulls to Freddy's pinball paradise + skulls for people who bought just the skull in the first runs

after that (March) we will ship 50-150 sets.

we will try to ship all orders until April - May include new orders.

Great game and super fun! i love how each JJP game is different experience.
Tip for people who going to install the skull, make sure your shooter plate is straight. mine was little off and the skull was looking weird.
if you saw my POTC HMS you are going to love one of my next creation to this game. super interactive mod and also many many cool sculpts i really recommend to WAIT!

The topper is INSANE! i will start to program it very soon

its better than hobbit topper.
the led and fiber optic effects is one of a kind. never made before. and this topper is most detailed topper ever.

i got hired to a TV show in my country (big brother) to make some stuff and i told them i cant go to the studio because of my lockdown so they gave me a special approval that i can show to the police checkpoints. so i got it for 3 days and i already finish the work to the TV show yesterday. so i toke that chance and i got to the studio early in the morning and did some clear coat to 20 buttons and i also have some skulls from last week that are ready to paint!

im going to ship this week orders to people who order only the button.
all other shipment will be same as i said in post #195
i also made some JP molds and also start to work on new mold for the skulls
i will go to the studio tomorrow also to keep finishing the molds and to clear coat more buttons im also going to cut the base for the topper in our CNC
machine. after that im back to the lockdown but e are still painting from home

me and my workers painting right now around 150 buttons and 40 skulls. we can clear coat them only in studio.
we can only paint at home. casting, sanding, first layer paint / clear coat, molding is only at the studio. at home we paint right now and im also sculpting from home or studio.

will maybe sneak peak part of the topper soon

just sent tracking numbers. i will contact FedEx tomorrow to see when they can pick it up. will pack all tomorrow.
Few people ask me to add also the skull so if you order only the button and wants to get also the skull please tell me ASAP

for the new POTC and Hobbit mods i made a making off video from sculpting to the final product.

oh wow you can ask my close friends, i have a desk full of pinball creations that never got into production because they was complicated to make or didn't got license. i also have many sketches of mods that i never made. i also have very nice video of how i program the hobbit topper.

i was using it just to match the colors on my version. its not how mine looks
but lets say my guitar have something better than speakers

its looks great but im not sure if i like the glossy look and the proportion.
im working on a bullet shooter to fit with my skull.
BTW i love your skull, its the first one i paint. maybe one day i will ask for it back

when i was in the studio i cast more buttons and toke some tools so i can sand them at home. they are ready to get first coat and after to be painted by hand!
these are the buttons that going to be shipped in March. February shipment (distributors only) waiting for clear coat when we will be back from the lockdown and also need to finish painting the skulls who going to be ready next week.

we are doing our best to work from home also with the lockdown and i wish the lockdown will end soon.

yes you can order them later only 2 mods for GNR going to be limited but skull and button we are still making production.
the one in the photos going to be shipped in March or before to customers. and we have to make more for April shipment
yes im making also shooter rod but this mod will be cheap.

i was trying to do it but too big and out of proportion. it was hiding all the beauty of the skull and with so weak spring on the game with big sculpt is not good at all on the shooter. we will also not going to make GNR stamp on the back of the bullet because we respect license

update on production and lockdown

if you listen to the news my country just increase the lockdown to 10 days more. the situation in my country is crazy.
im working next week on a TV show again and i will have a special approval to go out for 2 days so i will send my worker to there and i will go to the studio to do coating for 100 buttons and 15 skulls and i will start to cast 30-50 skulls and i will take them home for sanding. this lockdown is super annoying and they also closed the airport so im glad that im working with FedEx.

there is very important update about new orders and i will post info about it soon

Topper update

i was thinking to make 3 versions of the topper. one under 1000$ and others have some extra features and extra sculpts.
after i got the game i decide to pass on the cheap option because its not looking good and the amount of time that im working on it doesn't worth it.
so we will do only 2 versions. The topper have many leds and many effects and i need to program each song and each mode and programing of something like that will take months. this topper will be the first topper that using PC to run it i can also tell the topper will weight around 25 LBS (just for the sculpts). the topper will have WIFI updates and also some cool features on the game and it will be also a base system for my feature mods. with this PC we can know any switch or led or music on that game and the level of topper that so interactive with the game i can promise you its never done before!
