I cannot find the specifications for the thermal switch on the coil magnet in the loop.
I contacted my local JJP supplier but they charge $40 for a coil plus the thermal switch assembly.
I want to buy just the coil and add the correct thermal switch.
Who knows the specifications of this thermal switch?

Thank you. I know now what to look for. Can I just attach the correct thermal switch to a correct coil?

I bought 10A, 84 degrees Celsius thermal fuses/switches. Will those work?

Replaced the switch with a thermal fuse, since coil didn’t work. No luck. Coil still not working. I used isolation tape and soldered the fuse in the spot of the switch. Any advice what to check?

Or can I order a new coil and switch from Pinmonk?

I tested in coiltest, not in gameplay. The coil didn’t work before I replaced the switch for a fuse. And now still no coil action.
The fuse is not transparant. I have a few more. I’ll desolder the one I used and measure it.

Solved: I soldered the fuse and the heat blew the fuse even before I could test it in gameplay. Replaced the blown fuse for a new one without soldering.
The magnet works again.
Simple $1 fix.

I understand your post but sofar the magnet works with the fuse. The fuse will blow once the temperature exceeds the allowed limit.
I just test this option for my home use machine and sofar so good. For $1 a fuse I believe this option is not a bad solution.
