JJP GNR art blades revealed and available to order from PinballSTAR...

$ 130 plus shipping
Available to ship in Aug / Sept

The artwork for the blades are inspired by the Limited Edition package featuring actual concert posters from the ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour. Each set of blades will ship with a set of inner art blade protectors which can be easily added or removed preventing any friction/damage from the raising and lowering of the playfield. That said the pricing below includes RIGHT / LEFT art blades and RIGHT / LEFT art blade protectors.

Email Joe at [email protected] for ordering info !

Did you ever get an answer? I’m trying to figure out how to install as well.

It just slides in on each side. After you install the art blades, make sure you Slip it on over the art, hanging off the sides (you do have to initially shape and bend the side that hangs over the edge in order to make a "channel" for it to hang over because they come flat) slip them on everytime before you lift the playfield and remove it when you put the playfield back in place.

Yeah. It just slides. I have to say I’m not a fan of these blades compared to Stern. They bubble and we are paying a premium. Will buy Stern in the future and seriously evaluate anyone else’s.

I used wet method, very soapy water. Worked any bubbles out easy... Not really many bubbles to do, and once it dried it's perfectly and beautifully flat. My first time ever.
I don't know how anyone would do this dry... Maybe that's the difference in our experience.

I used the wet method and the decals are too soft as they bubbled in spots.

Then give it a week for it to completely dry. I think there were a few like that on mine on day 1 but many days later I realized couldn't find them. I guess the water evaporated and it's like the the decal tightened up and must have pushed them out as I can't find a single bubble anywhere and it looks perfectly painted on.

I work with vinyl graphics for a living. If you have bubble, poke a minute hole with the tip of an exacto blade in the middle of the bubble. Don't slice the hole, just a small poke for the air to escape. You'll never see it and the bubble will disappear. Good luck!
