500 C/E's at 12,500 + the trip.
Coma mode, ball lock in apron, topper with speakers, purple armor, RAD Cals.
Quoted from Rockytop:I'm in on the CE with Zach.
I am as well! This will be amazing!
Quoted from CLEllison:If I were buying an LE let alone a CE edition I would be asking JJP to ship a playfield to Ron Kruzman for a clear job
I’ve sent Jen an email asking for this exact option on my CE. No response.
Quoted from zaphX:do a swap and put in the bulletproof Kruzman playfield to fix it
I'm trying to have JJP send the PF to him in advance of the build like Spooky does. I know it will add 13-15 weeks like the other PF's he is doing/has done for me, but it is super worth it. If not, I will buy an extra CE and send it to Ron. zaphX , if you end up doing the same, I'll have a double playfield Kruzman PF crate and we can send them both to Ron at the same time (cheaper option) and he can send them back in the same crate.
Quoted from PtownPin:I love your passion for quality, but man it sucks we have to go down this path....especially for a $13K machine
For 13k, you are 1000% right, but it appears manufacturers are not listening and look at this CE. Sold out in one day. I'm sure 'will PF's be an issue' was in most people's mind when they paid, but we all 'hoped' JJP would have learned. Nope. Still in the same boat, but trying to mitigate something that we should not even be discussing. Playfields should be perfect when delivered and put into use. JJP has a 30 day bumper to post warranty - could be interesting if challenged for a full PF replacement legally.
Quoted from zr11990:I honestly don't think it is JJPs fault. I think it is Mirco's fault
Mirco is the supplier to JJP; JJP has to 'own' the product they sell and should force Mirco to make it right. I would have fired Mirco years ago. Inconsistent product with art, color, and clear-coating issues. JJP should take it in-house or find a sub that wants the job and will do it right.
Quoted from romulusx:They don’t have all their money isn’t it just $1000 down?
Some of us are paid in full for the CE ...
Quoted from romulusx:Is this by choice or was it necessary to hold spot?
It is what my distro sent me for payment. Watching the CE debacle unfold that day, I paid to make sure I was solid.
Quoted from ToucanF16:Just curious why you’re paid in full?
My distro sent a full amount to me, so I paid. I assumed since I had bothered him since April for this CE, he was able to secure one of the first off the line. At that time it was not known CE's would be built in 2073.
Rumor is CE’s hit the line this week or the next and they will make all 500. It will take about 7 weeks. We’ll see, but I’ve heard this from 2 sources.
Quoted from Concretehardt:I guess we will know when the CE’s are on the line when one of us posts here that we have been invoiced for balance of funds.
Some of us are paid in full ... I will only hear from my Distro when it's ready. But he did tell me they will be on the line this week and all 500 will be built at the same time. Several resources have listed this same information, so I would give it some weight.
Quoted from KingPinGames:You have a guaranteed ce on order.
CE is on order, which is bad ass; however ZERO communication from JJP is bullsh!t. If they would set expectations, I’m sure we would groan, but at least we know when. Now it’s just wait for a JJP FB post and assume from there. Communication costs nothing to a company.
Quoted from wcbrandes:have you picked up the phone and called the company?
Yes. Called them, emailed them (no response 2x) and my distro. Same story from JJP, we will communicate when they go on the line. Distro was told in Nov CE would be on the line mid December; based on what we are seeing via FB, no CE's on the line.
Quoted from Skyemont:I was for sure we would have seen the CE’s on the line by now.
Someone on the FB group posted he was informed CE to him in 1-3 weeks .... tick tock!!
Quoted from zaphX:It's just a post mech, you can see the yellow coil.
You need a career on Dateline finding lost things ... great find!
Quoted from magickeys:I just sent this to the factory....
Much talent and respect sir!!
Quoted from RichieWrench:Had to WHITE OUT a portion of this as there is no reason to promote something that was on the pic,
Why not cite the source?
Quoted from fnosm:If you install a playfield protector and hate it you can take it off fairly easily, super easy if you cut it off.
So it’s that easy? Picked up a game last week that has one installed. I don’t like the game play and wanted to take it off, but it’s a nightmare. If I can simply cut it out, out it goes
Quoted from zaphX:Those do exist!
Checking in buddy!!! Been 9 hours; we need to send a crew in to find you?
Quoted from Mogg:I thought I was the only one confused?
The topper instructions were written by a 2 year old. They are terrible; the manual online is a bit better.
Quoted from thechakapakuni:No side by side pic with DE?
CE is alone right now so I can get it all dialed in. It will drop in the lineup tonight. I may need to move several machines around to get them both side-by-side. CE going on an end so I can see the art!
Quoted from Eskaybee:You don’t need a gym when you have pinball. I just burned 168 calories playing GNR.
I’m glad that’s just a foot ...
Quoted from zaphX:then will resell them to the list members for cost+shipping.
Or pickup in person
Quoted from Skyemont:Eric or Slash have these issues?
I’ll be checking one band members game soon ... I’ll report back
Highclasspinball ... lots of stones being thrown regarding JJP GnR playfields pooling/cracking. Any response??
Quoted from PinMonk:You obviously haven't been in a Mirco problem thread. He has nothing but excuses.
I’ve read his poor excuses and egotistical posts ... funny how the wheels are falling off for JJP and Mirco, yet crickets. Next week should be interesting.
I wouldn’t call that the wheels falling off.</blockquote
Not financially, yet, but bad news really puts a black eye and spotlight on both Mirco and JJP. JJP can find another playfield manufacturer, and should ASAP! Hit up Peter and team in Germany; they make amazing playfields with out all this mess. Mirco can’t survive without JJP, so yes, wheels can start falling off the bus.
