So based on 243 we’re halfway through the CEs getting delivered? They started the line at beginning of January so another month maybe to clear out CEs and get back to SE/LE maybe?
Quoted from thechakapakuni:So based on 243 we’re halfway through the CEs getting delivered? They started the line at beginning of January so another month maybe to clear out CEs and get back to SE/LE maybe?
243 may be his CE game number not the serial number order. Plates are random unless requested.
Quoted from thechakapakuni:Ah, ok. Well hopefully they get all CEs out within another month so the others can start going out
I hope that you’re right Chaka.... so far I think that there’s none Collector’s delivered in Canada yet.

Australia hasn't even got their first batch of LE's yet (maybe just docked) so CE's here are a while off

Are you in the first batch of LE for delivery?
Quoted from Chetrico:Has anyone else had issues with Coma lock? It worked first game out of the box but hasn't since. I ran a coil test and it tries to open but doesn't. Test report says "Check matrixed switch #79, Coma Lockup (stuck closed)". Pulled glass and it moves freely. Not sure what to check next.
I just started having this same issue. Anyone else seeing this? One thought I just had, for those familiar with POTC, I'm wondering if this is similar to the switch in the sinking ship. If you don't sink the ship within X number of balls the game reports it stuck closed. Chetrico have you gotten to Coma since the test report and are you still seeing this?

Nope....I'm #211 and my game hasn't even shipped nor have I been notified that its about to ship....my distributor requested final payment the first week of January

The topper instructions were written by a 2 year old. They are terrible; the manual online is a bit better.

There have been a few more updates in the Scorbit thread here:

Is the Scorbit hardware included in GNR-CE, along with a subscription, or is this something additional that need to be purchased?
Quoted from Dallas_Pin:The topper instructions were written by a 2 year old. They are terrible; the manual online is a bit better.
With all the topper install problems lets hope JJP has made changes for future games....I think they got rid of the guy who wrote all their past manuals (which were great) so apparently it shows.

you might have to manually activate the come lock switch (not the coil). i remember that on hobbit, if the system doesn't see the "up" switch for the beast, it will deactivate the coils (even in test) until that switch is repaired.
please try activating the coma lock switch and report back for the rest of us.
thank you

I have seen this too when I don't hit Coma for a while, and it disappears when I do.
I consider this the same class of false positive as the boat in POTC as you suggest.

Since coma’s not being activated every other game or so could that not extend the error timing?
Quoted from doghouse:Is the Scorbit hardware included in GNR-CE, along with a subscription, or is this something additional that need to be purchased?
Scorbit is free to use for GNR machines and all JJP pinball machines in future updates. No subscribtion or hardware is required. You only need to make an account and install the app.

Yeah, I don't think they appreciated how much Butch brought to the table. His manuals were the best in pinball, bar none. I have no idea why they thought canning him was a good idea. It wasn't.

That's probably a question for @pinball_keefer.
Quoted from fnosm:Has anyone put a full backbox light mod on their CE? cool/warm/rgb? Any recommendations?
tough call, but I would go cool white. RGB could work on the CE translight though. The mod comes with a remote so you could choose it to be white or RGB.
I love the new sensors but I think I still need help troubleshooting one in particular. My Keyboard Insert Left #19 (Dizzy) seems to be fine for a handful of games but then it will just randomly trigger. No movement or environment changes. And unlike a regular switch, I don't think there is a gap to fix or other mechanical solution is there? I run the calibration and it seems fixed for a few games but then it reverts...and it is only that one insert. All of the others are have been great. Any other suggestions?

i was having trouble with a few sensors, but after a few days, they seemed to correct themselves. Make sure the game is doing a calibration at start up (lower left corner after the code loads.) You can also check your connections at the boards and reseat them. JJP is aware that there are sensor issues on some games, but they seem to resolve themselves. I'd say keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks, if it doesn't resolve open a ticket.

Can the brightness be adjusted to balance the top with the sides&bottom?

Unless you Know specific details, sometimes its not always the Companies decision to let someone go it may be another reason.

I'm just going off what Butch said publicly on a podcast right after it happened. He was called up out of the blue and dumped [paraphrasing], according to him. Seemed very strange given his obvious skillset and value to the company on display with his work on the amazing JJP manuals. But maybe there were interpersonal issues, too. I dunno. He said what he said and that's all we got publicly to my knowledge.
Some of my faves. Such an amazing game.

No question to me Butch was the MVP. Just saying as every story has 2 sides likely JJP didn't let someone that great go just because. The past.
Has anyone made a skeleton figure type of Slash mod that's like the Axl one?
I think that would be pretty cool to have in the game.
Quoted from Yelobird:No question to me Butch was the MVP. Just saying as every story has 2 sides likely JJP didn't let someone that great go just because. The past.
This. The "why" is not our business and between them. But we can all celebrate and appreciate Butch!
Quoted from Yelobird:No question to me Butch was the MVP. Just saying as every story has 2 sides likely JJP didn't let someone that great go just because. The past.
Whatever the reason, it was a shame because JJP was SO FAR ahead of every other pin manufacturer's manuals because of him. Now they're clearly struggling to keep the level he had them at. The GnR manual, though not finished, is inconsistent and messy in the parts section, especially, compared to prior efforts. I just hope they're looking for someone that can bring it back to what they had, because it was amazing for a pin manufacturer.
Quoted from Yelobird:Unless you Know specific details, sometimes its not always the Companies decision to let someone go it may be another reason.
Unless he quit, which he claims he did not than its almost always a "company" decision .... cost cutting, location, $, who knows?
Quoted from Jfed:Are you in the first batch of LE for delivery?
Nope and I ordered on day 1. I was told over 100 orders in the first 2 days and we're getting 30

No. Still haven't received my CE and yet but I am more than happy to be the last one to get it. Hopefully all the issues will be worked out
Quoted from PBINTHESOUTH:Anyone experiencing further delay in getting their CE shipped? from weather or hear about slow down in CE production?
I haven't heard anything although JJP is terrible at communicating to its customers
My distributor requested final payment on December 29. I made the payment and have heard nothing since. I sure wish I had that money in the market right now...
Quoted from NightTrain:My distributor requested final payment on December 29. I made the payment and have heard nothing since. I sure wish I had that money in the market right now...
No doubt....Mine requested final payment the first week in January, and all I've heard is their continuing to build CE's, and mine will ship at some point (I was told between now and end of February)....I'm not in any big hurry, but I never understand why final payment is due, and no delivery date is provided.
I got #155 on Tuesday. FedEx was a tad rough with the delivery and I opened my box to find a pile of shattered playfield glass. Only minor cosmetic damage thankfully. After I assembled it, vacuumed every nook and cranny, and wiped up all the glass powder, everything else is perfect. Tommy from Nitro is taking care of me with lightning quick professionalism, and sent over his awesome tech guy Troy to go through everything. Started off as a bummer, but the fantastic customer service from Tommy and JJP have allowed me to breathe easy and appreciate what an amazing machine this is! Wow! Pictures and videos don't do it justice. I'm just blown away by this masterpiece.
Quoted from PBINTHESOUTH:Anyone experiencing further delay in getting their CE shipped? from weather or hear about slow down in CE production?
Mine was shipped from Chicago on Monday. And it’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The only delay for me is the schedule of the shipping company. No mention or appearance of anything weather or production related.
