The hype is real. I'm not sure I can add anything that hasn't already been raved about. Aside from some small adjustments that I need to make that every new machine needs - this game is outstanding.

Quoted from MT45:

Thanks for doing this. Following. I've watched about half and learned a bunch that I didn't know. I'm terrible at rules but your stream delivered them in a simple to understand way - nice work!

Hey thanks! Glad it helped! . I'm terrible at the actual playing, but I'm working on it.

#1903 3 years ago

Nice stream really appreciated. Notes from broadcast

1 You have vacuums attached to your outlanes lol.
2 They hit you on the music for a good part of the show sadly.
3 Totally love your obvious trick I never considered in letting the timer Almost run out on song add a ball. Smart!

So quick update on my list of items as it appears JJP is addressing a few of them at the factory. My plan of keeping my machine covered and out of the way for a week while the our basement was finished lasted all of 5 minutes. I am weak.

- replace flipper rubbers (I'm going with Titans) - DONE; went with purple for the bottom three and red for the upper PF mini

- make sure I know how to calibrate the sensors - my Dizzy keyboard sensor was too sensitive and was randomly going off for the first 3-4 games. Multiple calibrations were not doing much to solve it...but then it was fixed. I'm just not sure when/how. We haven't seen the issue in past 15-20 games so all looks to be good.

- check flipper alignment with inlanes (thanks vitty - post 1545) - DONE; no adjustment was needed

- check spinning disk to ensure it is level with the PF. It appears that the discs issues from the early LEs are fixed. - DONE, no adjustment was needed (except for swapping out my Spaghetti Incident sticker when JJP (hopefully) offers replacements )

- check plunger spring as some CEs spring are too long? - DONE; no adjustment was needed. Plunger working great for me OOTB so I'm not sure if they switched springs or not. My spring looks to be .75" and not 1"

- check angle of the plunger gate to ensure ball cleanly exits to right flipper - DONE; no adjustment needed but will keep an eye on it

- check angle of the upper playfield exit lane to ensure the ball guide does not feed it through the right outlane - DONE; no adjustment needed. The ball safely lands high up, away from the right outlane.

- check Coma lock to ensure to is working properly - I locked a ball in there but have not gotten to Coma multiball yet but it seems to work just fine. I do love the lighting effects in the lock and when you lose the ball at the end. Fun pinball moments throughout this game.

- check left ramp diverter to make sure it is not digging into the PF - DONE; no adjustment needed. Although my PF had a very small mark, it was clear that the diverter was adjusted at the factory as it cannot hit the PF at its lowest point with how it is positioned.

- add ground loop isolator for topper - TBD as I am not able to install the topper until it is moved into final resting spot

- check bass center string to make sure ball doesn't get stuck - DONE; no adjustment needed

Lastly, I know it has be said a thousand times..there are not enough thank yous to go around for Hogbog and the whole team at JJP for those of us that just want to play pinball, immerse ourselves in a new experience, and not take things so seriously. Your passion for taking things to the next level is clear and I'm excited for what you guys have in store for this hobby for years to come. Congrats!

Check flipper coil-stop (small black) bolts. A few of ours have fallen out and were loose.

Must be a CE feature!

Great stream, I definitely needed a rules breakdown

Got the email a little while ago, my game is shipping in 1-3 weeks. That seems like a somewhat wide schedule, so maybe they are taking into account some of the issues people are having, and making adjustments accordingly. Or they just have a ton of games going out over the next few weeks.
Either way, the info in this thread is great. I can’t remember being more psyched to get a game than this!

#1909 3 years ago

No updates on mine, JJP website still says pending fulfillment. I’m pretty sure I got in shortly before they sold out.

Mine says pending fulfillment as well. I also believe I got in not long before they sold out. I can’t say that it has any bearing on your order, but the situations are at least similar. Plus I was given a timeframe of 1-3 weeks, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they contacted you soon.
But if you want to know, you can always email JJP. I had a question about my order few weeks ago myself, and Jen got back to me quickly.

Thanks, I don’t mind being patient, especially since it seems they’re still working out some kinks

This game continues to just blow me away. I keep coming down from the Loft like a little kid to tell my wife the newest details - she thinks I'm nuts

I have had bribes coming in all day to swap numbers and re-route said #12 to other members of this fine website... I am happy to announce i have taken one very generous bribe of a foot long hotdog, a set of VHS This Old Pinball Tapes, and 1 hour access to the dark web, along with some very revealing photos of Betty White that have never seen the light of day. Sorry Richie...

#1924 3 years ago

That was in the envelope on the outside of the box that said "Open First".

#1925 3 years ago

Why #12?

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!

Nope. No envelope. Ken said it was on back order.

#1927 3 years ago

What was your number supposed to be? Maybe it got damaged or they only got so many

Bummer...

#1929 3 years ago

My plaque has a couple of black lines that look like scratches...not sure if that is common and/or related to this

About what time did you order on launch day? I have the same pending fulfillment from 7:46PM.

#1934 3 years ago

I suspect JJP had ordered <500 plaques, assuming CE's would sell over many months and they would have time to order more. They didn't expect 2 hours. Not the end of the world. Amusing even.

Mine has shipped but I haven't received a call yet to schedule delivery. Of course the storm is on the way to the east coast Monday-Tues, so even if they offer it I'm going to delay to Wednesday or Thursday.

#1935 3 years ago

oops

#1936 3 years ago

Hopefully not Tom Brady related lol

I am sooooooooooooo excited - got the email yesterday that our CE is on it's way! It's expected to be delivered tomorrow!!!

I've had a busy few months and haven't been following the thread. Anything vital I need to do when it arrives and we unbox? I do know to check the box to be sure it hasn't been tipped before accepting the shipment.

Any advice is appreciated

Check out the post below. Only two pages thus far so nothing too daunting to go through.

I’m having trouble connecting to WiFi. Probably a dumb question, but this screen is asking me for my home WiFi password, right? When I put my home password in it says connection failed.

I’m having the same issues. I tried about 5 times. No luck at all. Anyone? Thoughts?

#1947 3 years ago

Read previous posts in this thread about being sure password is right, it is case sensitive. Try different dongle, even different router.

LTG : )

So dumb question .... is the machine picking up your WiFi and not a neighbors or some other WiFi close by?

Dont have my machine yet so not certain how the WiFi connects on these, just a thought.

Try powering down your router. It worked for me. Too many devices connected to the router at my house.
