How times have changed...... when I ordered the Hobbit it took three years to get it (ordered 7/13, shipped 8/16).
Obviously no one wants to wait but JJP moving in the right direction.

Dang - couple problems with the soundbar power kit that was sent out for me anyways in case any of you have the same problem.
Issue 1: my amp board doesn't have a 3.5mm output on it, just the input
Issue 2: the power splice cable which is supposed to power the amp board and the soundbar doesn't have the right connections on it
Working with JJP on it and will report back.

Interesting way to fire the speakers ?
I'm a bit of an audio freak and cannot understand the logic behind this set up.
How can the mids to highs be clear ?
Perhaps i'm missing something.
I have never seen inside the BB of a JJP, were the previous games set up this way, sound good ?
Anyone care to share a picture of Bbox internals please ?

With the help of pinballer22, It took about 4 hours to put on a playfield protector and get the game set up. The game played perfectly, with no flaws at all. I didn't watch many streams, so i have no idea of what is going on. But, i can tell you this, when you start a song, it is EPIC. For you Seinfeld fans out there...it's like when Elaine dated the guy that every time the song Desperado came on, he was like, "babe, the song..." and he just looked mesmerized. The music is just so good. It really does feel like you are at a Rock concert. The light show is incredible. the spotlights in the back flash all over the place. The pf is gorgeous. like others have said, the sparkle is much better in person than in photos. I'm a big fan of purple, so i love the armor. It is the same purple as the DICE. I changed out the flipper rubbers to purple, which really look nice.
Even though the soundbar is not hooked up yet, i thought the sound was really good and certainly loud. I can only imagine what it will be like when the soundbar is hooked up. I was not able to get my headphones very loud though, like on the other JJP games. I'm guessing this might be on purpose. This game may be meant to play without headphones.

More growing pains....its great to be one of the first to get the game, but it can also be a little frustrating....happy their addressing the issue and hopefully in the future games leave the factory with these things addressed.

Cool that they are on this but kind of disappointing that the cord didn't solve the problem of not being able to connect/use the subwoofer/topper.
I hope fix #2 is the final fix.

This has been my issue with JJP since POTC. They moved the motherboard to the back box eliminating most of the interference hum. OK problem solved but they created another. By repositioning the speakers the way they did, on the newer models, completely destroyed the amazing sound found on the hobbit to WOZ. I would prefer that they go back to the original design. Sound is everything!!!

It looks like the facia is moved back in the new version requiring the speakers to be rotated firing up.
Should be an easy fix to make a false front to mount the speakers on so that they fire forward.

I made a 'backbox' frame for my Eric/Keefer signed POTC translite that Secret Santa hooked me up with in 2019.

When looking at your lineup i see no reason why you should not be a very happy man. Keep 'em rolling man.
Just ordered both red and purple flipper bands from titan as I wasn’t sure which way I wanted to go. Now to stay patient and calm while looking at all these awesome pics and videos from everyone! Keep them coming!!

Got to play the pro when I was at my distributor squaring up my CE. Super waste of a great theme..
Though I only have a few games on mine so far, I have to say this machine is amazing. And so much more breathtaking in-person. The whole package really comes together - and I don't even have my topper installed just yet. Based on what I have seen so far, if the highest I can rate this machine is a 10, then I need to go back and downgrade every rating that has come before it. Nothing comes close to this game, imo, and a new standard for awesomeness has been set.
