That’s incorrect. CE playfields were already done and getting ready to ship from Germany BEFORE the issues came to light. You (and your distro) are just getting pacified.
Why doesn’t JJP go to Chicago Gaming for playfields? They are local now. They’ve been doing it forever. They don’t make them for Stern anymore, so I’d think they would have the capacity. Win-win for both companies IMO

How do you know they're not getting other playfields? Or already ordered playfields and there in the works? Do you have any facts backing up that the playfields were delivered are 100% using them? I doubt that you do! All I was doing was relaying to the community what I was told

Unless they lied to the “#1 celebrity” related to the game, you can bet what I wrote is accurate. Now whether they found issues with the CE PF’s since that time or not and what they decided to do about it (i.e. sort out the good ones and re-run the bad) after that point I don’t know.

The cheap usually comes out the expensive. All the lost revenue in canceled games. All the lost revenue in sending playfields. All the lost revenue from bad word of mouth. A quality playfield would make more sense.

Easily 3 of the top 4 Stern games for me. Only missing Jurassic Park.

I’ll guess that the Collector’s will be on line at least after 2,000 LE’s and 1,000 SE’s, and then they will build the 499 CE non-stop for 2 months.

Great pics but I have to ask .... did Jack tell you that you weren't allowed to show any pictures of the pooling areas (sling shots)? In the one picture you can see the sling it appears either a clear washer was installed or there's no ink going under the post.

If there were never issues with games I would agree with you, but all things considered, I much rather wait and let all the kinks get worked out.
Haven't seen this posted yet but this is the portfolio of the super talented intern, Jesper Abels, who worked on some of the CE elements. His page has high res images of the CE blackglass and sideblades so take a look. I love how the crowd in the bottom left sideblade have the hospital masks/attire since that is near the coma lock. Cool little details like this are what sets this pin apart and makes me that much more excited for the CE!

All this money and details and that stupid black door is still there...Oh well, I love JJP and that is just my opinion and it is nice to hear from some that agree...But I am NOT going down that road. Even though it really is freakin amazing that door is black and not powered coated. Matt ... my door will be on its way to u soon some day.
