    Just messing with you all.

No, seriously, I was only kidding.

They seem to be alternating widebodies and narrowbodies. So that would mean narrow-body Toy Story is next, seeing as the original leak was right about DI and POTC and also mentioned Toy Story and the Muppets.

Next Toy Story movie release date is 21 June 2019
I don't know if any more Muppets movies are planned?

    #3 1 year ago

Is this where Im supposed to say Toy Story?

    #4 1 year ago

I just wanted to be the first to ask what the next game was, an hour before game four was officially announced. Although the truth is, I am probably not the first to ask....

I think that speculation about the next game is kind of a thing that the pinball community likes to do.

It's time to meet the muppets

    Pirates 2

    Porno

Let's just get it over with. Popular.

    Its toystory......

    #10 1 year ago

I just hope it's not a widebody. Those things are just too damn heavy.

This is why I would never own TH......that mug is almost 400lbs.....

Hopefully something light years better than another Pirates of the Caribbean machine.

    #14 1 year ago

It's gotta be Toy Story at this point since it was leaked when Dialed In! and POTC were originally leaked by the same person. We might as well just call this a Toy Story anticipation thread and start the JJP#6 speculation thread. Then again - the movie isn't being released until June 21, 2019, so that's a long time from now. Maybe another Lawlor original will become JJP#5 to fill the void and get us an announcement and release before the end of next year and bump Toy Story to #6?

    #15 1 year ago

    It's gotta be Shrek...

    Really though, another POTC? WTF?

    #16 1 year ago

Go to 22:38. He accidentally says, "house" instead of "character".

Did he just spill the beans and tell us game #5 is Harry Potter?

    #17 1 year ago

Any leads on the designer? Is it Pat again?

    #18 1 year ago

Game #5 is being done by Pat. I say next to Ted Estes at the reveal last night and he confirmed it.

    #19 1 year ago

I know the plan for JJP ultimately is 2 games per year, so I wonder if the announcement for #5 will be sooner than later. I guess it will all ride on whether Pirates is delivered Q1 as they hope. Then likely announcement for #5 in Q2.

    #20 1 year ago

Just read the JJP4 thread and edit out the POTC guesses. Everything else there still applies.

And at $9500 dollars, it doesn't even matter if it's Harry Potter. I'm not paying that much for a pinball machine.

    #21 1 year ago

BTW, Ted is a REALLY good dude! Had a nice little chat with him about Dialed In. Says his latest update will put it at 90% complete and now has a mini-wizard mode (think "Melt the Witch" on WoZ). Listening to him speak about the game was very satisfying. You can tell he is very proud of it, which makes me even more excited for game #5!

I thought it was more of a gentle jab at GoT since it's similar in execution. He mentions JJPOTC being quite balanced for all the options you have and missions the game selects... whereas many only play 1-2 houses in GoT for big points.

    Cool story bro.

Pretty sure he had GOT on the mind, with the house selection at the start.

Wow, Pat doing a Harry Potter machine...! I am really not into HP but I am into Pat's games... that could be awesome! I'm not into POTC at all any more, but that game does look pretty awesome. Reminds me a lot of WOZ, which is a REALLY good thing

If we're following a pattern it was 2 wide, 1 narrow.... Pirates is wide, so next one will be another wide #2

The pattern calls for a dragon then too. ... and while that is enticing, I'd settle for a cute gecko and 15% savings on my insurance.

    #28 1 year ago

Toystory. Hopefully widebody, pretty certainly in for an LE.

    #29 1 year ago

    How about this pattern...

Offbeat theme nobody 'gets' but plays awesome - WOZ
Movie Theme copied from Stern - Hobbit
Offbeat theme nobody 'gets' but plays awesome - DI
Movie Theme copied from Stern - POTC
Offbeat theme nobody 'gets' but plays awesome - ???
Movie Theme copied from Stern - ???

Gosh, would love to see them revisit Game of Thrones. Such a rich world and have under glass. If POTC can have two games then GOT can absolutely have two games.

This is exactly what i thought right after seeing the JJP PotC reveal. First, wonder at how unbelievably great a JJP GoT would be, followed immediately by disappointment because i know it won't ever happen.

Sure, the Stern GoT plays well enough, but as a huge fan of the books and show, i was pretty disappointed overall because it didn't feel much at all like the GoT world to me. Much like the first PotC, it just felt a bit phoned in. After that let down, i started thinking maybe I'd just been expected too much, but then JJP shows it can be done, which is (oddly) even more frustrating.

I think another original themed Lawlor title!
