I thought this would happen. It has to really to give JJP momentum going forward.

#101 7 years ago
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

JJP need a winner to survive.
TH sales did not reach expected sales.
Reveals do not constitute the ability to build and ship machines in a timely manner.
All boutiques need to step up their game.

Expecting more than a reveal. JJP have hinted in the past that this game will be 100% done and ready to go into production, just like Stern.

Quoted from FalconPunch:

I think the original rumor said that a Cell phone on the playfield calls you and tells your what shots to make. Not much info to go by.

Will be interesting to see how close the leaked info is.

Maybe 'Dialed In' is an app that links to other players.

So, features to look for - 2 way mirror, 3 flippers, 4 magnets, robot arm, criss cross ramps, narrow body.

1 week later
#228 7 years ago

Well, seems like the leaked email was true.

So, expect -

2 way mirror.
4 magnets below criss cross ramps.
Robot arm.
Stop lit inserts before they hit the player.
3 flippers.

Quoted from DCFAN:

What if the dialed-in theme is about robots and/or computers vs. humans?
That could be appealing I think.
I choose to wait and see before judging.

Well the fact that a robot arm grabs the ball ( rumor ) suggests that it may be.

Some sort of sci-fi, futuristic theme with JJP tech could be very well received.

#447 7 years ago

Best guess based on leaked email.

Futuristic.

Computers/robots/AI has taken over the world.

Dial in to the mainframe to try and destroy the robots/AI etc.

We will find out in a week!

Quoted from Gotpins:

I am amazed that there has been no substantial leak about this game yet. Only days left to the reveal and no one really knows a thing. It's crazy that everyone involved kept a secret this whole time. I can't wait till Thursday!!

It was leaked here ages ago but nothing since the leak.

'Dialed In'..... etc etc etc

#633 7 years ago

Remember that the game has a robot arm so that has to be some kind of clue!

Quoted from clg:

Mr Pinball Australia is posting about downloading an app for the new game on Facebook:
The Countdown is almost over are you going to be ready to download the app and Play PINBALL?

Killer App to go with Dialed In.

Boy that leak seems like it was 100% true.

#651 7 years ago

I think the Killer App will create different missions so it will be possible to have different scenarios and endings.

So, could be multiple games in 1.

Grab your cell phone quick!

#747 7 years ago

Remember the original rumor.

Some sort of 2 way mirror....like pin 2000.

#1341 7 years ago

Interesting to re-visit the leak of 1 year ago.

Title was correct.
There are 5 magnets, not 4.
Criss Cross ramps - correct.
3 flippers - correct.
Lit inserts move towards player - have to stop them. Correct.
Robot arm on p/f? No, just on backbox.
Cell phone on game calls you to tell you what shots to hit. Correct.

No wonder it got removed ASAP.

So, on that basis I believe they have Muppets and Toy Story licences.

Oh, agree, change title to Quantum City.

Dialed In, sounds 1930's....

Quoted from iceman44:

Yep, JJP certainly didn't "dial in" the formula on this one!
I mean, if you are going to F somebody for $12.5k at least do like Stern did and put a number on it!!!
Money grab going from 30 to 80 was predictable but to stand up there and say, "we will make as many as we can sell of the $12.5 ripoff to be FAIR to everybody" is a mind-blowing arrogant joke.
It's like saying, hey Gary, I saw what you did there and I'm gonna one up you, you went from 30 to 80 on the SLE Gary and could have sold 300 of them, what a fool you are.
Watch me Gary, I'm going to say come one come all, if 300 people want my great SLE then by all means to be FAIR to us poor pinheads, we will make them!
Wow, wow. Talk about a sleazy $$$ grab. Put a NUMBER on your SLE, but oh no, you guys are so greedy you aren't going to leave one sale on the table!!!
That is NOT what a "limited product" means. Mind blowing stupidity.

Yeah, if he wants to arm wrestle Gary, at least say a number, like a 100. I had heard there was a finite number but sounds like that was dropped in an all out cash grab.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

It's more than just decals.... there are inserts on the playfield D-I-A-L-E-D I-N

Yeah, but don't need game name on a p/f.

So, p/f could be left the same. Just decals/backbox.

Easy enough to do.

#1534 7 years ago
Quoted from iceman44:

1000% in agreement with you
This NIB is guaranteed to drop 25%. Look at a Woz Le now
I seriously think it's game over time IF that's what JJP has to get on a 6,999 run?
That AINT happenin
I'll pay up for a great theme I like such as BM66 knowing full well I'll lose $$ but I'm not totally stupid. I'm not doing that on every pin
Just way too much for this hobby to absorb I think
Bring on Heighway and Spooky

People are asking if there is a standard version for DI.

With 6999 LE, this is the standard version!

So who wants to start the JJP#4 thread?

Toy Story already been started I think...
