Quoted from Aurich:I hope it's awesome and sells well and proves that original themes are still commercially viable.
If it's too good will probably be my first and last pinball expo......I feel extreme wallet hurt coming on...!!!

Quoted from RobT:It's like Opposite Day or something.
I would like an " Opposite Day" at work once in awhile.....think I'll use that phrase to encourage my Staff at team meetings occasionally.....thanks Rob.....
It's Alien's time to shine...... many, many anxious to see this, but not a theme for everyone ( that was my vote)
BM66LE- just seems like it's going to be a great, fun, pin, although pricey....certainly a lot of buzz, but again, theme won't appeal to all ( although I love them both)
JJP3- easily the sleeper, as no one ( publicly) knows what it is, other than designed by Lawlor, and original theme...could steal the show, guess it just depends on what is revealed.
I'm not sure about the 4th title ( not " connected" as some here)...hope it's NOT another music pin...no show stealer there, for sure....
Quoted from NicoVolta:Not a bad idea but it can backfire if it is too easy or repetitive. For example Addams Family was pretty cool to hit the SHOW TIME multiball when it first came out... but after repeat visits it annoys to no end.
I actually never tire of three of my favorite pinball call outs from that machine:
" SHOWTIME"
"50 MILLION"
"WHO SAYS YOU CANT TAKE IT WITH YOU!!!"
Quoted from Aurich:Just to be clear since Expo's schedule is confusing the way they've changed things around the Alien reveal (see the game, play it) isn't on Friday, it's Thursday night at Twin Peaks. And we scheduled it for 9pm (until 11pm) so no one has to decide between JJP's event and coming to see it. It's all pinball, there's no reason to make people choose, don't we all want to see everything? Go check out Pat's game, hear the JJP talk, then walk across the parking lot and play Alien.
I'd love to see the JJP talk, but I'll probably need to be at Twin Peaks helping set up games. So I do get stuck in the conflict, but no one else should have to.
Check.....I've almost figured out what responsible things I'll need to do now....
Sadly, I couldn't get past the ringing cellphone toy.....
I despise cell phones period ( have to keep one on 24/7 due to my job). I play pins to take my mind off of work, and could never get around the theme or seeing that phone, much less the interactive part).
May seem like a shallow reason to not want the pin, but that ( for me) was an absolute deal breaker. Really nothing more than that, and certainly doesn't change my very positive view of JJP, and love my WOZ.
Quoted from cooked71:By the sounds of it the Phone is not even the theme of the game - it's the disaster stuff. So why TF did the package it as a phone game?????
The disaster stuff never really got through to me ( only played a few games on it). I just can't unsee the phone ( with a battery life indicator that you have to hit a shot to " charge"....f**k, and iPhone looking icons on it during certain sequences) or the title.
Again, a great looking, well built, and potentially fun machine...just not for me.
