Quoted from PinMonk:

There's a patent application on an app, so cell phones will probably figure in somehow.

I think you meant a trademark was registered.

Quoted from Eryeal:

I don't think it's them - the guy sent me some very crass PM's when I disagreed with him on a few things. We're not talking run-of-the-mill insulting PM's, but the guy saying some stuff about child molesters and everything else, and I severely doubt Jared or Jody would do that.

Probably exejet

Quoted from RobT:

Air Pinball is definitely Captain Kirk, but I don't agree that either of these are Jody or Jared.

Brings back memories of other duplicate/new accounts.

What if the dialed-in theme is about robots and/or computers vs. humans?
That could be appealing I think.

I choose to wait and see before judging.

Quoted from westofrome:

Has anyone speculated it could be Funhouse 2?

I would hate to see Planetary (PPS) getting any money from JJP for licensing. In a way, it would defeat the purpose of a non-licensed game.

Quoted from CUJO:

P.S. not drunk..

Are you sure?

I know I am getting there.

Quoted from o-din:

As a person that has never owned a cell phone, call me intrigued.

Yes. You have been asking for modern themes. This could be right down your alley possibly.
If it has some sci-fi included in the theme that would be something unique/different.

Quoted from LTG:

What if you use a cell phone to select different ways to play the game ? Different music ? Different voices doing call outs ? Multiballs ? No multiballs ? Timed game ? Not a timed game ? Or ask the game for advice to improve your play ? Machine giving you a hard time, machine being nice to you ?
LTG : )
Disclaimer : I have no idea. Just guessing.

One thing for sure, if we are spending around $8 to 10 grand on a pinball machine we do not want it to rely on 2016 cell phone technology. Based on my observations of computers and cell phones, in 20 years we will not be using the same bluetooth and wifi protocols we use today. I expect a pinball machine to work as long as I maintain them regardless of technology changes. I hope JJP is taking that into consideration with this game design whatever it ends up being.

Maybe this is why Jack was not giving a straight answer of whether it was standard width or widebody a couple years ago.

Quoted from RobT:

Layout seems similar to RS?

Theme seems comparable to Roadshow in it is out of left field.

Quoted from TxJay:

Hmmmmm, looks very similar.

As I expected when I heard about the ecto-goggles feature being in the Prem/LE GB, it does look like Stern took the JJP #3 leak from a couple years ago and copied the two way mirror trick for Ghostbusters.

Quoted from Manic:

I think the "robot arm" might have been a miss-leak about the video screen swing-out arm... he did make a big deal of it.

Actually, that big female toy in the back right of the playfield appears to block the ball.

Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:

Played it tonight, by far my favorite JJP game. Layout is great and its a ton of fun to play. Third flipper has multiple shots including a ramp!

I do have a strong feeling that the game is going to surprise a lot of people when they play it and start to understand what the theme is about. The price point for a non-licensed game just kills it for me as a game to buy. Shouldn't there be some savings in the price of the game because there is no license to pay? Sure I would play one at an arcade or friend's house if I saw it but I am not planning on spending $9000 on something that is not a proven elite rated game.
