I've never owned a pinball machine before but I have a SE TH pre-ordered. Do JJP machines need Pincab protectors to keep the decals in tact? Maybe somebody with a WoZ knows. The picture of the SE's on twitter have metal plates on the outside:https://mobile.twitter.com/JJPinball/status/690267668289560576/photo/1

Will the metal plates completely protect the decals? I also saw screw nylons on Pinballlife.com and wasn't sure if I should bother. I want my machine to stay in good condition, but don't know if that is overkill.

The plates on our WOZ kept the legs from touching the decals at all. We didn't bother with more protectors when we realized that.

You are better NOT to get any extra leg guards. They will then contact the machine during "aggressive" play. The plates keep the lest off the machine.

Good to know. Has anyone ever seen wear from screws for the legs? Guessing I probably shouldn't bother with nylon screw protectors either.

You can get these if that really concerns/bothers you. They come in different colors as well.
