Why would anyone get the standard? For $1000 more you get a lot more. The standard should be less than 8000$.

The LE seems to be the better compromise by far. The collector edition is way overpriced compared to LE. Where are 3500$ stuff? And the SE is not enough cheaper.

100% Agree. Would much rather have the ramp over shaker. Also would much rather have invisiglass over shaker. I guess if I buy it would be the LE. If they could make it so that those are the shipped prices, that would be much more comfortable.

CE is $19050 MSRP in Canada if you do a direct conversion. Plus the CDN dollar is suppose to tank some more. Pinball will soon become an American Only Hobby. $8000 for a standard edition still too much.

If I were interested I would go with the LE myself (especially since I would have to buy Invisiglass/PDI anyway), but if people want to pay $1k less, I think JJP did it about right. Invisiglass -$300, Powder Coating -$400, lit ramp etc. -$300 = $1000.00.
They weren't going to make it so that the standard was the obvious way to go as that would have cut into the profits of the LE.
Still overpriced either way.

Uh, no. TANKED is 78 yen to the dollar. I've been to Japan when THAT happened and it was TERRIBLE.
This is just a pullback from recent highs in the 115-120 range, but 102-104 yen to the dollar is respectable.
I just want to say, thanks for the broadcast! I really enjoyed watching the gameplay along with getting more in debth with the game and theme. It looks great, can't wait to play it!

And as some have said the lightshow is important and $8k is big money to have an inferior machine. I do believe that next spring JJP will finally get the message that the pricing on all models is too high. They may struggle to sell 1000+ games by the end of next year. Deposits can disappear very quickly.

I'm 1000% convinced they'll have a Quantum City edition with new side cabinet art and all the LE features maybe more features in a year, so don't necessarily think LE means it's going to be the only LE.

They are going to rename the game so I highly doubt there will be a "quantum city" edition as that's likely what they will rename the game to.

I really thought they were going to announce a name change to Quantum City given the overwhelming backlash against the Dialed In name. I guess Jack really doesn't listen.

Because the people who bought love the game for the game. That won't change with the name but others want a new name so that means more sales. Common sense.
